Rad is working on Operation Torch? I thought he was doing that Pacific stuff?
That was the very first stuff he made for FH2. Those American playermodels where supposed to be in North-Africa.

Thanks for the answer Remdul.

And I'm looking forward to the changes in Tunis, from what we've heard from Otolikos it seems that theres another gate added to the first flag for the Brits?

 Yankee-licious,
Any and all models pertaining to Americans in this mod can only be a good thing. Hopefully a release is only weeks away so we can get back to building a Forgotten Hope presence in the rest of the world.

I hope with all this mortar goodness, that we can look forward to the omni-present 60mm mortar in the hands of Allies and of course the big 120mm in the capable hands of our Axis foes. And of course, the M3 means that we get to see Halftrack AA vehicles, capably designed to tear infantry a new one on the ground.

@ the above posters, I appreciate the fact that FH's Dev team never forgets their contributors, however large or small they may have been in output.

In the meantime, to all of you players reading this, take a few moments to actually get online over the days and weeks ahead and play so we can prove that FH2 is played outside of Euro gaming times.

does the panel in above the halftrack's windshield close?  Also, what purpose did the cylindrical contraption that's attached to the front of the halftrack serve?

I believe that was used to wrap chains/rope/wire around for various different tasks.

I was also thinking this.  It looks quite vulnerable with that large gap there right at head height what with all these MG42s lurking around.

Since you can close the Sdkfz hatches, I guess those too.

Oh, and looking good ;)

Good looking stuff. Btw, is that 50.cal based on the one from stock BF2?

Also I have not noticed that you can close hatches on the sdkfz...I guess there still are new things to discover...

Hanomag view slits, Jeep window and "ceiling", Kübelwagen window and I think Bedford back hatch?

Anyway, nice update. Not much left :)

Pacific stuff was just sort of him playing around with it. It was donated from some other mod.

You know, once Normandy's done, not many vehicles and such would be needed to be modeled for Torch. The most might come from the maps and skins.

Hope the M3 machine gunner can duck...it looks a whole lot like one of those targets on a firing range if you get what I mean (and I mean easy to shoot).

Looks good! Just when I thought you guys had covered everything equipment wise by now, I'm surprised once again. There's just so much shit to make isn't there?
