I was going for a Walk, and find this. I know its hard and tricky to set these Things. Change the Combat Zone  ;D

I'm building a map right now and placing railroadtracks has to be the most frustrating job in the editor.

Awesome map

One of my favorites. Lots of infantry action, tanks and some planes for the Axis.

You have Mersa center and then Garawla (who can be a bitch with the 88)

I really like it, always has. With even teams this map's always a blast

Quick tip. Learn to use the "Stamp" and "Align" feature in the editor. It will make your life so much easier when placing fences, railroads, and other things of that nature.

i think a suggestion for me would be giving the brits slightly higher tickets than germans, so they could actually try to break out instead of being camped to death by panzers and artillery.

Soon a few commander arty, some LeFH barrages, some panzer rushes,

would force the brits to charge into garawia because of ticket disadvantage and take further casualties...i don't the the feasibilty for a brit victory in even teams.

The brits need to got exceptional tankers in those grant to 1-shot every panzer they see. While it's very possible for an average Pz IVF2 tanker to 1-shot any british tanks they see.

Following this logic if the British tankers sucks their infantry would be hopeless.

The only thing that saves the Brits from total defeat is the 6pdr and the Grant, and sometimes the Grant is just fail.

IMO Mersa Matruh is one of the big "clasics" in FH2 and among the best balanced maps. While it lacks a bit in the graphics department, it has a huge viewing distance and nice gameplay for tanks and infantry alike. I wouldn't change it, or at least not much. The only problem I see at the moment are rounds that simply take too long.

you need over 7 shots on the sides and you have to make sure u hit the Tracks.The 2 PDR seriously needs to be reworked, because IRL, it only needed 1 or 2 shots on the sides of the Panzer 3 and 4
-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

The last time I played on the British side, 3 side shots with 2pdr at long range took down a Pz3 (Gazala; the southernmost 2 pdr, Pz3 was just visible on top of the ridgeline.) And no, it was not previously damaged since all friendly tanks were back at the mainbase or slugging it out near Knightsbridge.

At short range (Crusader vs. Pz3 street fight in the northern village) 2 shots are usually enough (not from the front, though).

I was on Op aberdeen, with the matilda. A Panzer 3, It stood still in front of me, and it took me 7 shells or 8 to kill it, of wich 4 bounched off
