What portions of the comm box don't you use?
« on: 14-02-2010, 16:02:11 »
Take a look at the following 3 comm boxes and pick all the things you don't use.

Maybe things could be streamlined based on your inputs. I know I only use auto, armour, infantry, need target, and next and prev target.

When using artillery, I use "Ship" to see the exact location of my target is.

So, basically, I use all of them. More or less.

Not really a big commbox user. I'm rarely using anything but Yes and No, sometimes "attacking", "wait" and the spotting commands as a scout, of course.

And charge of course, for the fun.

How do you know something is incoming? and define something please. I define it as arty/mortar fire.

How do you know something is incoming?
When you see a tank coming, or the first mortar bomb lands in the next crater over.  In both cases, you know that something very deadly will shortly be incoming.

Ithink incoming should be in the centre of the commrose.  quicker and you don't have to search for it.

You can hear arty fire too....like hear it incoming, so you yell it. Or like if you know the flag you are holding is zeroed in for artillery fire. So you yell it.... or if a plane is heading in for a run, you call it. You sound like a terrible team player Jawz.

I almost never use it unless spotting targets with binocs...otherwise, I just say things over my mic.
