2.0 was a major release
2.10 was an update for the same theatre and contained Crete, Gazala and Mareth
2.15 was another update for the same theatre and contained Giarabub, Fall of Tobruk and Tunis
2.2 was a major release
The common denominator between the updates so far is that they all brought 3 new maps into the mix + other content in the form of vehicles, weapons, statics and various improved gameplay, sound effects and smoother performance.
Now, what we've seen so far in the news for this update is 3 new maps, vehicles, reworked snipers as well as improved sounds. The fact that they've already showed us the minimaps and loads of screenshots of the new maps suggests that they are in the very final stages of completion as no major changes are likely to take place. Moreover, we've also been told the approximate size of the next release suggesting that they've already added all the needed content to the current internal build. Perhaps everything left to do is test thoroughly and finally, create an installer.
To wrap this up, my guess is that a release will be announced within this month.
