If someone will be interested in-WWI mod

After looking list of BF2 mods on Moddb, I saw, that there are no WWI alive mod!!!

There are : BF1918/2 - dead now, they are working on 3.1 BF1918 for Bf1942
               Dawn Patrol- only partly from WWI, based on dogfights, totally dead.

So I have Sugestion- Idea:

It will be nice to fight in trench system with SMLE an G98 and Lebel on big maps, above your head dogfights of Nieuports, Sopwiths, Albatroses and Fokkers, with support of MGs like Maxim and Vickers. Then many other fronts, maybe russian civ. war, Mosin-Nagants, Mannlichers, MOUNTAIN warfare, On late front Surmtruppen, tanks like A7V, Mark, FT-17.......

So would somebody of you like to help me and support this idea?
It is naturally only idea now.
And if it will be succesfull, it will need lot of work mainly in modelling, coding and mapping (you can see on FH2)

And one please: If you dont like (or hate) this idea, please dont write insulting or spamming posts.

I would totally play a ww1 mod based on BF2, but if its based on BF 1942 it would be too much to install.

Well I am happy, that you are interested in

So maybe we should ask some FH2 senior how to start it.

Second think, what can you do? I can be researcher and make news.

Third thinks, I hope FH devs will allow to bring mainly weapons (Webley, Entrench. Tool, Lee-Enfield, Lewis, Vickers, Luger, MG15) to our new mod.

Last thing, do you have any idea for NAME? It should be something easy and original (Like Forgotten Hope  :) )

also, we should contat the old bf1918 2 mod to see if they'll lend us their models, since its a dead mod now, anyway.

I can't speak for them, but considering a lot of their hand weapons are now partnered and being used in BGF mod...

I can't see it to likely that BF1918/2 would give their content to such a.... mod (For lack of a better word... unless I say "idea") as this.
