And to think of all the people who are living in that colour world image, whilst in reality we are still living in black and white.

Did I say still? Wow! Of cource our world can't change from B&W to colour. That is just another Hollywood myth.

I understand the idea of FH v2.2 having a News-reel footage (black & white) mod to better depict the period. However black & white can get a bit tedious and not all WW2 soldiers were colour blind. Rare colour footage was sometimes available since the war began. When they do release FH v2.2, I believe it should include an effect option to play the game in either black & white or rare colour news-reel footage.

The guy does have a point. What if you prefer B&W over colour?

I don't but it would be nice to show off to friends. And it makes creating faux WWII video's easier, since B&W is already in the game.

Some sort of shader should do the trick.

And I already know it is an April fools joke. I never fell for it, since I was looking for jokes on the internet that day. But I already mentioned somewhere else.

While the photos about WW2 we look at are MOSTLY Black and White, the view that the soldiers who fought the war in was COLOUR, the blood and guts of your best mate killed next to you was definitely not black and white.

and looking at the number of posts concerning it i would say it worked very well ( i didnt think it would)

however maybe someone can add a note to the news to make clear it is an april fools joke ;) (lightning )

the news was postet 01.04.2009 10:00 GMT so long before 12pm. if your timezone doesnt fit the the timeframe i m sorry ...
