Soundpack
« on: 29-12-2017, 02:12:34 »
Hi! I wonder if somebody would be interested to make a mini soundpack as an optional thing to have. No big deal, some small changes like change soldier´s voices, honking horn sound (all vehicles have the same sound), adding more explosión sounds, crashing sounds, running and walking sounds etc. I would be interested to help providing the sounds if someone is able to introduce them to the game itself. I used to do that (and even created skins and new vehicle variants) for FH1, but I have no idea about FH2 modding and I dont really care about learning. There are lot of sounds that could be added to the existing ones just to randomize them more, that would give the game a more authentic feeling. A lot of improvement could be done with very Little effort. Anyone interested just post here and lets get started!

Any updates for the tanks, such as more powerful engine sounds, track clanking...? If so, I am interested for sure.

Well, FH1 had very interesting track clanking sounds. Some really deserve to be imported.

Hey guys,

I'm working on it since the week following my first game.

I modified pretty much everything...

Menu music, almost every handheld weapon and static ones, cannon sounds, land vehicles ( pretty satisfied with the recorded Jeep sound I got myself here in Normandy as well as the Sherman one), airplanes (except for the BF109G that I can't find anywhere, don't really know where is his sound...), Distant sounds (that I will continue to work on today), soldier sound, bullet crack, flybys, impacts, explosions... Well almost everything as I said.

I'm working on recording gameplay to edit a video to promote it.

For those who doubts about my sources, it's either my microphone during DDay anniversary here in Carentan vacinity or Free Copyright youtube channel/videos.

I'm working with Reaper and Goldwave mainly.

See you soon for the video.

Well I've already uploaded some on mega.nz a while ago for a friend of mine but can't find it now...

I will find it and re-upload with the latest version and see what you'll think about it.

I might edit a video in parallel so that people can make their opinion whether they want to try it or not.

;)

Is that why it redirects me to a sign-in page?

Well last time I uploaded this for my friend, i don't think it was required to have an account.

But no worries, this site is safe, and I got no ads sent to me since I registered.

I fixed the problem, I just miss-zipped one of the archives. It's working now.

Try this otherwise, https://mega.nz/#F!DUtw2IqQ

KEy is this !dlpzw19y_-CB0hF4q9U9NQ

Looks like really complicated now... OMG

Thanks! BTW, how do I install? Do I just overwrite the files in my FH2 folder?
