Another high-quality constructive comment from Jan. You should look at TS4EVERs vids to see how constructive feedback is done.

Who has time to look at or think how pretty a map is when the fighting is incredibly intense? How many here honestly plays FH2 for it's awesome look? :D

Had a great time last night fighting around the maps. Looking forward for more action next friday!

Naturally the Custom maps we use are not on the same visual and consistency level as stock maps.
You just have to look at the speed of production for vFH2 and tournament.
It's just different stuff, you cannot compare it really, and you should not try to measure it with the same baseline.

Both of the maps above are simply.....

yeah and your fh2 vanilla maps are all great and blablabla
work on your gameplay design. vanilla maps are just not working

Well, sorry if I wasn't clear enough, but I just meant the look of two maps mentioned in this topic so far, where did I say anything you're trying to imply? There is a lot of maps in CMP that are good and I totally enjoy to play them, but you guys tend to remember only negative opinions and "insulting" CMP seems to be an unforgivable deadly sin, here. Also note, that I'm not saying that vFH maps don't have any flaws, so please, don't put words in my mouth (but who cares, I'm just a hater, right? ;) )

Of course it is only my opinion, but for me it's a weird choice for a campaign starter as both of the maps mentioned here are far from being good maps, and they look quite bad, what is always a huge immersion braker for me. (especially random static placement I mentioned). With all the changes made for CMP, with an organised teamplay in mind, they most likely work as a tournament maps, I do not deny it. All I'm saying is that visually wise, they are really bad IMO and I totally agree with Korsakov on this one. Those screenshot emphasize on those weaknesses. I didn't mention gameplay or anything else though, so please stop jumping into conclusions.

Btw, is any of these maps being currently worked on by original mapper? I'm just curious  ;)
