M/39 "Ukko-Pekka" Rifle bead

When you walk sideways to left and start aiming, you don't see bead because it is part of other parts of the sight. This is very irritating. I always change to Russians because this is so annoying in firefight. I wonder why there is no any other topics about this.

Here is couple photos. First one is when i aim after walking sideways to left (you cant see bead) and second one is when i walked sideways to right and start aiming.

Pictrures are from custom map, but problem is on all maps where is M39.

Hey Matsku,

Thanks for the report, but I can't seem to reproduce this on my own in a local server. I've also never noticed anything this bad in Multiplayer.

When you 'strafe' left the post indeed disappears behind the notch in the sight. However, after about half a second, it comes back.

It's maybe a little un-even from when you 'strafe' right, but not too bad imo.

Overall the 'breathing/ swaying' animation when aiming down sights is a bit slower than others. This is why it takes a little longer for the sight to 'cycle' back to its normal position. The Mosin Nagant actually seems to have the same 'breathing/sway' animation. The Nagant just seems to have a better sight picture so the post never disappears behind the notch.

The devs could maybe tweak it, but imo it has more to do with the M/39 having a worse sight picture than the Mosin Nagant.

Mathew, yes this problem is because breathing animation, but this gun is only in game where bead dissapears while breathig.
You said it is away 0,5 seconds, it means you have to stay still that time and usually you can't do that on 1v1 riflefight. This is very huge advantage on infantry actions so i hope devs could do something about it.
