What Is A Campaign?
A campaign is a series of connected battles where we recreate the timeline of the war. Here at Forgotten Honor it also means teamplay and organized gameplay. Campaigns take about 8-10 weeks and every Friday night we will have one +4hour battle. All battles are counted towards the final score which determines the army that won the overall campaign.
Every army has a training server to use during the week for scouting and practice, as well as their own Teamspeak channels and locked sub-forums (we call them barracks) for communication and entertainment. Everyone can participate in all weekly activities and events as much as they want!

How To Join?
Due to our new Tournament Interface being in development, a different signup process is in effect.
Step 1 - Click in Tournament Statistics Page and choose your side in the Tropic Thunder Campaign: http://www.forgottenhonor.nl/forums/page/tournament-team-statistics
Step 2 - You now have access to the Tropic Thunder Campaign Information and your Divisonal Barracks. Choose your company and make a post introducing yourself in the respective company topic.

Welcome players!

Tonight, Dec 9th 19hUTC we will play the map Irrawaddy River and take a better look at Sittang Bridge and Peleliu, as they are brand new. Also revisit Bukit Timah to see if the crash is fixed.

After the 7th Indian Infantry Division had captured Pakokku, on 14 February, the Allied forces crossed the Irrawaddy River at Nyaung U, north of ancient Burmese capital of Pagan. The 7th Division's crossing was made on a wide front. Both the main attack at Nyaung U and a secondary crossing at Pagan (the former capital, and the site of many Buddhist temples) were initially disastrous. Pagan and Nyaungu were defended by two battalions of the Indian National Army's 4th Guerrilla Regiment, with one held in reserve. The 7th Indian Division suffered heavy losses as their assault boats broke down under machine-gun fire which swept the river. Eventually, support from tanks of the Gordon Highlanders firing across the river and massed artillery forced the defenders at Nyaungu to surrender.

Checked the map on my own. It is a very nice improvement and change to the previous CMP version. Runs better, looks better and the additional statics and enviroment changes are all nice. Really solid work guys.  :)

Tonight, Dec 16th 19hUTC the map Invasion of the Philippines will be played.

The Battle of the Philippines was the invasion of the Philippines by Japan in 1941 to 1942 and the defense of the islands by Filipino and United States forces. The defending forces outnumbered the Japanese invaders by 3 to 2, but were a mixed force of non-combat experienced regular, national guard, constabulary, and newly created Commonwealth units; the Japanese used their best first-line troops at the outset of the campaign. The Japanese 14th Army also concentrated its forces in the first month of the campaign, enabling it to swiftly overrun most of the Pacific islands.

Friday, Dec 23rd 19hUTC the day before Christmas, will be used to gather vital balance information and play two maps: Tarawa and Mogaung.

As we all painfully experienced, balancing is hard work and depends on constant feedback. So we need to know how US landing maps behave as well as how the IJA fares against UK troops.
