RESTRICTION: Disallowed program/driver [125119]
« on: 12-09-2009, 10:09:58 »
If Crashing to desktop every five minutes wasn't enough it seems to have been temporarily replaced by Punkbuster kicking me giving this message RESTRICTION: Disallowed program/driver [125119]

I only updated my PB a couple of days ago, I searched google putting in this error but everyone who was getting it either used FRAPS or Xfire and I use neither.

Help!

Are you running steam, maybe?

I usually imagine my own sounds with it, like `tjunk, tupdieyupdiedee` aaa enemy spotted, ratatatataboom

It seems really random with this error. My game will either kick me for this problem or CTD.

Right well my CTD errors have stopped and have been permanantly replaced by this PB error... I would like to know why evenbalance are allowing Punkbuster to update when it causes these errors. A friend of mine has just recently began getting the CTD error yesterday when his game ran flawless before.

Evenbalance wtf are you doing?

EDIT I'm still getting the crash to desktops.

It seems to be Fraps or Xfire related. Try closing these programs and run FH2.
If it works, and you still wish to run Fraps or Xfire, update to the newest version.
If it doesn't work, press alt - ctrl - del and go to task manager - processes. Write down the entire list of processes here so we can review them, should be 30 - 70 of them, to make sure they're all legit. Do this while running FH2.

There is nothing not legit running on my computer. Something has gone wrong in these updates of Punkbuster and that is either causing the game to CTD or give this error.

EDIT will post up processes after shower :D

Sure that Steam isn't the problem?
I see it running in your list there.
Also try switching of Skype that is quite a resource stealer as well.

Already tried with both off and I use skype to talk to people so that stays on and if you notice my CPU usage is very small...

Processes with FH2 running.

Protector what the hell is dllhost.exe and dwm.exe. It's running under you account, sounds like a Trojan to me.
And you are still running steam and skype service.

dllhost.exe is a process belonging to Microsoft Windows Operating System. The dllhost.exe file manages DLL based applications. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

dwm.exe is the Desktop Window Manager and is responsible for the graphical effects in Microsoft Windows Vista operating system such as 3D effects, live windows previews and windows transperancies.

Lol my antivirus knows what its doing don't worry.

And like I have already said I closed both of these when trying to play and still get the error.

I ask anyone who comes on with some help to actually read the whole thread as getting told to close the same things over and over again isn't helping when I have already explained that I closed these to try.

Havent installed any new program. Not running Xfire, Fraps or Steam.

Punkbuster is updated.

Any help would be appreciated.
