crash on connecting multiplayer server
« on: 04-06-2016, 18:06:33 »
I just installed FH2 last night. Although steam does not sell BF2 anymore but I own BF2 so I could just download it from my game library. After that I use FH2 launcher to install FH2 on BF2 folder. Success and I played many hours in single player maps. Everything works fine and I never met any crash.
This morning when I tried to connect multiplayer server, immediately "ForgottenHope2.exe stop working". Failed everytime. Im using WIN7 64bit system

Hi FD_Stalker, welcome to FH2 forums!

Not sure what your issue really is, but it might be solved by one of the following:

1) Check this thread, it deals with crashes in Win7: http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=6599.0
2) Is BF2 patched up correctly? If you are not sure if you have all patches installed correctly, check here please: http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=3493.0
3) If this doesn't help, try the Repair option in the Launcher.
4) If there is nothing to repair, please try windowed mode and post the error mesage you get here. Guide on windowed mode: http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=20396.0

Good luck!

Hello, since the 2.52 update FH2, but now can not connect to me on multiple servers but only in single player mode.
I have immediate feedback on the Windows 7 desktop.
I have no problem with my laptop under Windows 8.1.
I do not understand, please help me.

Hello,
yes I read the comments on the problem with windows 7.
I put in FH2 PACK WINDOWS XP compatibility mode 3 and checked disable destop composition but it brings me no solution for me, I always immediate office back when connecting to multi application servers.
This problem happened to then update 2.25 on windows 7, punkbuster a problem but it is not possible to update ? ??? ???
The single player mode works ::), so there is a problem of exchange with game servers since the update ???, right?
Thank you
config i5 4460 ssd samsung evo 500 with OS seven, gtx 970 card, 16 GB of RAM and fh2 is on the party not OS on STEAM
