The story of the gold train receives another sudden turn.

The names of the 2 persons claiming the found of the train are out in the open. Piotr Koper and Andreas Richter are the polish-german couple in this lovestory. They showed up on TV and gave a statement.

They claimed to have taken the picture with a KS-700 ground radar from the german Company KS-Analysis worth 12.800 €. Apparently the pictures were already released on their website on September 1st.

Actually, the pictures make no sense to me. Starting with the top picture, I actually admit to see what could be called a tunnel in a depth of 65 meters. I consider red to be the top layer of earth with yellow and green beyond.
But if I apply these measurements to the bottom picture, it would show a vertical anomalie, but not a horizontal one.

Now some experts had a look at the pictures and this is what they say:
  • In no way does this alleged radar shot show what is in these cavities underground. - Tomasz Herbich, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw
  • The image may be a cheap computer animation. It is not of the current state of technology – people should treat it with absolute caution. This could show a gully cover or a sewer as well. - Dr Hossein Tudeshki, Institute of Mining, Clausthal University, Germany
  • Our experience of the excavation and the archival materials in our possession clearly point out that the information about the discovery of the armoured train does not marry up with the facts we know. The desire for it to be there triumphed over common sense. - lower Silesian Historical Society

It was mentioned somewhere, that if the train will ever be dug, it won't happen before Juli 2016. Until then, expect it to be a great hoax.

Isnt it possible to preform a soil test to check ground condition etc?
There is a military base nearby (Pietrzykowice radar base), so I think they will control area when something is found.

Indeed, it is bunk. The BBC confirmed that there was no evidence of a train.

What buggers me most is
Why didnt they take any pics with their equipment on a top of a known tunnel with/without a train in order to note similarities and differences ??????

They started digging for the Gold Train.

The press says the digging is at kilometer 65. Kilometer 65 is next to the castle. I disbelieve. When looking at the heightmap, there is no way the train can be at a depth of 70 meters. I explained above.

Well, we'll see.
