FH2 from Origin Folder
« on: 03-06-2015, 21:06:23 »
Hi all here, I have a problem with FH2 luncher. I got BF2 installed by Origin (latest version) and I installed Fh2 latest client. When I lunch the game, Windows go on Aero settings, but nothing happens and on Tsk manager the game is running! I can only get acces on game switching from BF2

I already try everything readed here, but I really don't know what can I do. Thanks for help

Sorry, I don't know much about Origin and I don't know what Aero settings are.

1) Did you try to use the repair option in the Launcher?
2) Have you tried Windowed Mode?
3) Does BF2 run normally online?

Hi,
1) Done 2 times
2) Yes
3) Run normally by Origin, I can switch to FH2 from Community and it starts, but I can't create new account or LogIn.

When I launch the game windows go on Windows 7 basic theme and colors and a little windows says me : "Application is not compatible". Tryed to launch in Compatibility settings, but is always the same

OK, did you try to run it as admin? Did you try to open the firewall to FH2? If you start the game up with <none> as account, you can go ingame and create or retrieve an account there, did you try that?

This is allot of work to get a new player.

If only we had FH2 Standalone

This is a lot of work:

Trying a few settings isn't.

1) Yes
2) Fh2 launcher.exe, FH2 updater.exe, FH2.exe alredy done
3) Started with <none> as account, game is running on Task Manager, but I'm on Desktop with Win7 basic theme switched. I can't create or retrieve account because its says: "Server Refuses the connection" (this tryed after switch from BF2 to FH2)

First PIC says :
NEW COLOR COMBINATION: WIN7 BASIC
A program launched is not compatible with some WINDOWS Video Elements

I'm still not sure what causes the colours/theme thing, but it looks bad. If I were you I'd try a reinstall and check the correct order of all patches thoroughly. You should install it like this (you need all of those):

1) BF2
2) BF2 1.41 patch
3) BF2 1.50 patch
4) FH2
5) Update with Launcher if needed

Nothing, I can get access to FH2 main page from BF2 community only. I can't see server list because its says me : " need login account for multiplayer", then Server refuses connection

I really don't know what's wrong.

You don't start BF2 up first, right? You click on the Launcher icon on the desktop?

I don't know how to solve the color thing, but the way to connect to FH2 online is via the Launcher, not via BF2.

Have you tried to run FH2 Launcher in compatibility mode? If that gives you trouble, see this for more info: http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=6599.0
