Forgotten Hope 2 Launcher Crashes

Hello I need some help regarding the new Forgotten Hope 2 launcher. I have not played For gotten hope 2 in a long time so I do not have an account anymore. But when I fire up the launcher it gives me a select account option and all I have is the none option only available. So how do I create an account then?
When I fire up the game under the none account it boots up the screen flashes black 3 times then it exits to desktop I cant run the game nor do I get any error messages any help would be much appreciated thank you!

Can you click PLAY and not OPTIONS?When I was entering launcher first time it showed me play,options and exit.I clicked play and created my account in-game.

I don't think pressing Play was successful.

CrazyRick: Try Repair option, if that doesn't help, check Windowed Mode and try Play again. If you get an error message then, pls post it here.

Well thanks I am getting somewhere I did not try the repair option first but I will go ahead and do that. I did try windowed mode and this time I got an error message I will post it here, hopefully one of you guys knows a quick code fix. I pressed continue and it exited.

Also worth noting I had to tweak a text in a note file of BF2 to get Project Reality to work it was a code I got from the Pr forms that was faulty on the BF2 copy this might be the same or similar issue.

Looks like it might be the same. At least to me it looks like it is BF2 choking, not FH2. Are you able to play vanilla BF2 online?

I cant run BF2 because it would tell me the "Master sever denied the connection" when I log in so I could only play offline. Becides I thought bf2 was taken down when GameSpy shut down? however I booted it up for the first time in a year and got this error message.

OK, a shader error, that's really long ago for me. Try and search for topics on shader issues here on this forum, there are several solutions for this.

Yeah, just make sure you have a clean install of BF2 and then install patches 1.41 & 1.5. Then it should work!
