Crashing Help

I recently found my old copy of BF 1942 and installed it. I figured I would download FH 0.7 since I always wanted to play it but never did. Everything downloaded but when it loads a map the games exits out back to my desktop. I'm by no means a computer expert, but is there a way to stop this from happening? I have Windows 7.

It says Battlefield 1942 is not on my computer when I know it is installed. I also can't move my mouse around the main menu on FH or the original BF 1942 so I don't know what is up with that now,
