Oh, and please run your FH2 Community Updater, everyone.

Our [762]RANKED #1 FH2+CMP [100p] server runs the CMP
mixed with the vanilla maps, again. 72 different maps in a
newly generated map rotation each day. + Lots of new 16p and 32p
map layers for the less populated hours of the day. Stop by! ;)

I installed the updater, ran it, and then it said a newer one was available.  Installed the update and tried to update my map files.  It threw the exception below:

Why would you want to play CMP? Undergrowth is horrible. Although I like their air maps.
That other thread failed miserably and if you try to spam or flame here, I will break your arms.
FH2 won't be the last FH. ;)

Hey Melvin,  Thanks for the link.  I'll download it later this evening and manually install the maps.

Nice seeing you in the forums.  Hope to see you online soon.  Any plans at WaW to have another campaign?  I tried F|H, but Fridays don't work well for me because I'm not independently wealthy and I'm too young and too poor to retire.  :-p

I am too poor, but I could play and would like to play.  But the ping to the Euro servers are killer for me.  I'm enough of a bullet magnet; I don't need some guy with a 150 msec ping advantage to make it worse.  LOL   We've recently had players from Germany and Argentina in the mid-90's ping to the WaW server.  It would be nice to have another WaW campaign, but I'm too damn old to want to do the work.  No young whipper snappers to do it, either.  :'(

Hello all, I downloaded the community updater and I want to download the map pack but when it's installing it lag on hashing existing pieces and it's not downloading.

BUMP. I am having the exact same problem as Sam_SK. I have BF2 downloaded from battlelog and FH2 installed and running perfectly. When I try to install the map pack from the community updater, a box appears that says Hashing existing pieces (0%). Estimating remaining download time. The updater fails to progress from here even after 15 minutes or so when I finally closed it down. For reference I have quite speedy internet so I know it's not an internet problem on my end. Any help would be awesome as I would love to be able to play this game online again. Thanks.

Usually for me I get the 'hashing existing pieces' message and it looks like it's not downloading. But then after 10-15 min it's all downloaded and works fine.

You're saying it doesn't download at all after 15min?

Hi that's correct. In fact after I made my first post I decided to give it another shot so I started it and then went to eat dinner and played a game of Settlers of Catan. That gave it about 2.5 to 3 hours and when I came back it was still on hashing existing pieces. Would my next step be to do a full reinstall of BF2 and FH and see if it works?
