Once more Forgotten Hope 2 shames, well, very much any other World War 2 themed video game in existence. This is a marvelous piece of art that you have created, Fred! Thank you so very much for all of your dedication to this grand mod. By the way, I assume that it goes without saying that I would like to extend my thanks to the entire staff of developers and moderators.

Yes you definitely confused me there "lag" vs "lagg".

Extremely great update, can't wait to use this piece of Russian material. :D

Wow very well done, I wonder if we will still see an yak fighter or even an lend lease p39 in future of fh2

I don't think the German one will be used. I think Krätzer mostly made that for fun.

Will we still be able to use the german one for adding yourself to singleplayer maps or won't that one be availible in the gamefiles?

Wow :o GREAT looking plane guys. Planes are by far one of the hardest thingas to model, export and code in BF2, it's amazing to see that you guys have so many of them 8)

I think Fred was working about 5 weeks per cockpit,

That's crazy impressive. Great job Fred. I'm beyond grateful that you've found the time to help out this mod. :D Those cockpits are up to the normal FH2 standards, which is above and beyond anything anyone else is making in this engine.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is Kraetzer's first plane model? That can be a pretty daunting undertaking so congrats to him as well, the planes look awesome 8)

I also LOVE the skins and the variety that you've put on them! 4 seperate plane skins including that wonderful captured German one. Hopefully we can find a map to put it on in the future. I especially love some of the off color panels and scuffs on the fuselage. These planes look worn, old and like they've seen some action. Amazing job art team. Second to none. :)

Will we still be able to use the german one for adding yourself to singleplayer maps or won't that one be availible in the gamefiles?

I'd hope that it's likely to be in the files as it's just a texture. :)

The 3P aircraft model was started on the 28.08.12 and it was done on the 12.06.2013.
I started the texture on the same day, and saved the latest PSD, including just the russian textures on the
31.08.2013.

So it took me one year to finish it. :P

That´s also caused by different things, first i was very busy with school.
Second is i wasn´t amazed by the task  ;D, not as much as i was with the Marder III M.
Third is I´m not used to model aircrafts. This is maybe the fifth aircraft i finished and the first i did for FH2.

I think it would be fair to say it can take 4-5 man days to finish the outer model.
That means 4 or 5 x 8 hours = 32 our 40 hours.
+
The same amount of time for the interior, good that Fred supported me with that very well.

Damn... You guys are freaking awesome. It's been mentioned many, many times how time consuming the modding process is, but when you quantify it like I'm blown away by how determined you guys are.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

This plane is definitely going to cause problems for the FW 190 and Bf109.  According the "The Illustrated Directory of Fighters", one ace scored a sizable number victories flying the La-5 at two artificial feet...
