Well its good to see the news coming fast and furious.

The FH2 Launcher is an excellent idea & im glad to see it, but i have questions:

- Will this continue to be modified?

- Will we be able to save our current existing accounts?

- Will we be able to adjust Keyboard Settings in future updates

- Since the Launcher will not find servers, only launch the game, what will we do after May 2014?

Thanks for the hard work & im looking forward to leading the "Devildogs" onto the bloody beaches of Normandy.

 ;)

Wow, great news with the new interface.... ;D
Just a question for the update. It is needed or recommended to uninstall the old FH-Version? And then install the new one?

Or can I just install it right away?

2 questions: what's the benefit of limiting the frame rate? (computer n00b)
I would like to know what this means to.

Let me put it like this: your monitor as a certain refresh rate wich in most cases are 60 hrz. So your monitor can't show more than 60 frames per second. So as soon as you start to display more than 60 frames on it, it leads to tearing of the image. Downside for me is that I get somehow stuttering while limiting the frame rate with FH2 thatswhy I have to live with the tearing. Just try it and see what happens. It is basicly like vsync that you see in so many other games, though vsync tries to sync the images and max framerate does not. So vsync seems alot smoother in most cases. Downside of vsync is that it leads to noticable input lag. But that is more of a problem in other genres like racing games, and plays for FPS only a minor role for example if you are a professional gamer or while engaging Major Koenig.  ;D

Lolwut? I didn't make the launcher...

Well what i meant was that it seems to me that you have taken a role in fh2 dev team that, i guess lobo or Lightning, had Before. Well done with that :) (And the option to not have any guy to step up to the task would be a dead mod)

I still have a few questions about the launcher. Will you guys be able to update the game through the launcher? And fix bugs and all?

I thinks that's the whole point of the launcher, ability to make small patches and corrections.

That's a very good question. I wouldn't want to waste time finding that out on release day :D.

That only seems that way because I do a lot of promotion stuff and am active on the public forums.

And yes, we will use the launcher to update. That's actually the point of it.

And afaik the installer will automatically delete FH2.45, so if you have custom stuff like maps, better back them up.

The full installer for FH2.46 will recommend to remove your existing FH2 installation first, which you have to acknowledge with Yes or No. It will not delete anything silently.

Backup any custom maps. That being said, I'm sure the 762 guys will release an updated version some time after the patch.
