im thinking of buying this game, but on the steam community there are tons of people complaining of folks from out of region with high ping (mostly aussies and, guess what, brazilians).... Obviously since im brazilian i'll get 200 ping or so. So whats the deal that makes people bash these pings? I have played dozens of games with such a ping and i never got bashed, the only one to complain was me that i had and have to lead my targers (such as in FH2). When 1 guy lags with 200 (not bad ping really) the whole server lags? How dumb is that.

Or the only reason these guys are complaining is that the pingers play bad because of it? IDK how much per team you can have so i guess you are dependent on everyone playing well....

What i am really waiting for, will be if the ottoman empire, Austrian-hungarian & Belgian army gets added.

Don't forget italians and russians! (and bulgarians and americans, why not)

I had a glance at this game on Stream once and got interested.Today I was just thinking about WWI games and found this thread!
If they add these armies or early war (1914-1915) I definitely will look for these guys address and will pay a visit for them to shake their hands for at least an hour.
Unfortunately,I'm out of funds to support the war effort.

It's a cool game and fun to play.
It really gives you that Trench Warfare feeling. ^^
And it is being updated regularly, so check it out.

F2P? I haven't seen anything in the game that would hint at a F2P based model for it.
It was in an open beta iirc. I do hope, that they stay away from that plague, that is F2P.

OK, so if I want this game, I better buy it fast or wait for the release?

The last game I bought was BF2, so I'm not really experienced in buying games the modern way (I mean, other than going to a shop and taking it off the shelf - yeah, I'm old).

I guess I confused open beta with F2P until released. :P

I have no idea unfortunately. I bought it, because atm I have more money than free time and I somehow try to compensate that loss by increasing my pile of shame ... sighs...

Anyhow, it is still quite cheap and you can have fun with it, so why not go over to steam and grab it. :)

OK, I will give it a try, but first I have to make a Steam account and everything, and since RL stuff has got priority overhere right now, it will take a while.

I recommend it, this game is very different from the old free beta, see the screenshots and the trailer :

Only 10 € !
Also see the roadmap showing the future free expansions to come (yes!!!) and there's not just one or two planned :

Are there dedicated servers, how many people can play?

Also what the hell, are those minimum specs right? Geforce GTX 960M that only came out a few months ago.

For now 32 players per server the maps are designed for this format and no dedicated servers.
No idea about the specs but I can tell you I run it with best graphics without using this card.
There's really no reason to hesitate it's fun and cheap.
