FH2 - Forced to Desktop By No Program
« on: 02-07-2013, 14:07:57 »
Hello all.
Over the past month i have been experiencing "forced to desktop" while playing FH2 into about 30 min or an hour, it does not crash to desktop it just forces me to the desktop by no program. It's not uncomfortable playing its just that, for example, i fly an airplane then it forces me to desktop while flying (then later i crash ::))

I just thought what could it be?

This are just the random CTD's we are all experiencing from time to time, Roughy. So nothing to worry about - some have them more than others and if devs would know, what it causing them, I guess they would be solved. Fact is that nobody knows, what's causing them. They seem to happen alot when being in a vehicle like airplanes or tanks.

I am aware of CTDs but mine are evolved with "force to desktop" (not crashing), the fh2 program is still running).

It could be caused by a notification coming from the taskbar? You might want to try disabling those and see if that fixes it.

There is a programm taking priority in those situations it seems. Check wich programms you installed the last time and try to eliminate possible causes. I read about this in another forum where someone had the exact same problem. It was his WLan appilication causing those FTD's.

Fixed :)

The force to desktop is gone! I just had to disable some Mcafee (my anti virus) program running in the background and "Choose how to report problems".
