Right now, the Wargames are in promotion on Steam. I only have Red Dragon, so I'll only recommend that one since I can't say anything about the other ones. Red Dragon is the best RTS i've played so far. Extremely addicting, and the best part of it is that you can completely make your army the way you would like it to be, and there is only 1 resource in the game, which allows you more to focus on the fighting, rather than focussing on building or gathering the resources. The income is based on the ground you control, which again allows you to focus on the fighting. And best off all: the developers aren't money wolves. Past 2 DLCs have been free and i read the next one will also be free. Only downside i know about the game: It's made by the French, and they pulled their nationalism into the game. The french and Eurocorps in general are overpowered.
Anyway, especially for 20 euro, certainly worth the buy.
Setting: weapons up to 1990, prototypes up to 1995 (prototypes only available to coalition decks or nation decks)
Sides: Blufor (nato) vs Redfor (Eastern block, USSR, NK and China)
Blufor nations: US, UK, Canada, ANZAC, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, W.Germany, France, S. Korea, Japan
Redfor nations: USSR, China, N.Korea, Czechoslowakia, Poland, E.Germany

Next DLC will boost Scandinavian countries.

Edit: I just checked and saw that it's only 1 cent more to have the franchise pack with all 3 wargames, so might be better to buy that one then :)

Hello guys,I hope this is the right place to ask.

I've been in a platonic love with Chivalry ME. Watching some videos of it I found a game based on the Napoleonic Wars and one based on the Roman Empire wars. Later,I discovered they're both mods of a game called Mount & Blade.
Is this game similar to the Battlefield style or is it closer to RTS games?

A healthy mix. SP is tactical, while MP is more general carnage.

Both are plenty of fun but Mount & Blade has a lot of replay value.  Single player, multiplayer, dozens and dozens of mods.

If you wish to play M&B Warband online; prepare your anus. Very steep learning curve. But in the end it's worth it to be honest, tons of fun. I used to play it very actively in a clan.

Indeed, M&B is a very hard game. Comparable to FH2, except without the luxury of sniping someone from 150 m away or hiding in an armored sardine can. You will have to earn every kill with your bare hands!

But on the bright side, it's a game for history nuts. If you can name a period, chances are there's a mod for M&B that is set in it (and that includes Sci-fi universes too, Star Wars and LoTR being notable examples).

Good, definitely will get it when I have a monetary chance!

Also,I'd like to ask people that play Chivalry if they have Deadliest Warrior as well.
The game seems almost as good as Chivalry, but I heard someone saying the game wasn't well accepted.
Is that true?

Doesn't look bad. Do you guys know if the first Mount & Blade and Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword is like Mount & Blade Warband?

First one is SP only if I remember right (I might be remembering wrong).
With Fire and Sword is meh. Never really got off the ground, even if a few cool mods exist. Warband is your best bet. And SP is not much different than the original M&B.

Just get Warband, most popular and best of the M&B's until Bannerlord comes out.

And make sure to buy the Napoleonic Wars DLC, it´s a real blast!

Got them this week.

Have to say I liked Mount and Blade a lot,and Napoleonic Wars even more!
It's awesome, bizarre and funny! All those units,1 shot and then melee fights, annoying cavalry and some 2 or 3 people playing drums and flute while all this is happening.

The platform isn't the best for a shooting game, but considering it haves complex melee combat and cavalry, it's better than battlefield related mods.
Still just having difficulty to shoot and not dying too fast.

By going to Paradox Interactive's forum and taking part in a survey (found at the top banner), you'll get a free Warlock II on Steam.
