Well for some reason I can't download the Fan map pack because the Map-pack download requires it to be patched to 1.6b.

The mappack is required for some maps but you should still be able to install and play FHSW on the other maps. You need FH though, how did you manage to install it?

I already installed Forgotten Hope and just placed it in the Battlefield 1942 folder when installing it

He's right, the group has made the decision to just drop this mod so sorry mates but you'll have to enjoy FHSW on BF1942
