Well technically the Mannlicher uses an en bloc, not a charger. I've never found anything smoother than the Mauser chargers (of course I've never had a Schmidt-Rubin).

I REALLY dislike the k31 trigger, give my the 2 stage military triggers like on the Enfield or Mauser. Not the MAS36 though, you need to be a body builder to pull accurately past the second stage on that one.
