Open bolt, yes.
AKA

DONT EVER drop a PPSH when fully loaded  ;D

The recoil also seems correct. The PPSH was the second best SMG of WW2 for a reason
This thing is supposed to beat MP40 with ease. Even the STG 44 at close range

Play close attention to the target in the back, as you can see, a PPSH is deadly
-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

Looks awesome, but will we see any soldiers holding it by the mag? Wasn't it common to hold it by the mag?

It will, 900 RPM, 71rd Drum and not all that "limited kit". Easily one of the best SMGs in FH2
WARNING!
Assholes are closer than they appear!

Wow, sounds like a perfect weapon. I also heard that it is very easy to produce, even a home industry could cough up a dozen of this weapons in a day, enough to supply troops fighting behind enemy lines.

...and it never jammed unlike most other MPs.

Nice animation, looking forward to it!

Wow. WOOOOOOOW.

That thing looks insane. The only comment I was going to make was about recoil, but as Theta pointed out with the live video, the FH2 version seems spot on.

Also, Russian front updates already?! 2.5 release next month? ;)

I like the long reload, especially for a weapon that holds so much ammo. I like longer reloads in general, feels more tactical and realistic. BF3 is way too fast.

It would almost seem like you think longer reloads will more tactics... bollocks, mate. I reload when I need to reload, and when I need to reload, I need to have it done ASAP. You already have to think twice before reloading when you're in a firefight, since reloading half-empty mags means you'll be out of ammo real soon. There's the realism and tactics in that. Not reloading taking so long it looks like the soldier is scratching his arse while reloading. As you're about the real aspects of the game, a "real" soldier would never take so long to reload his weapon, especially whilst in utter need of using it.

well, slower movement and longer animations (not to mention lower accuracy) takes the speed out of a shooter, making it a little more open to thinking next to reflexes and instincts. Longer reloads is a first step as people will need to ask themselves more (only a bit more than usual, I digress) when they're going to reload, where they'll find the cover to do so relatively safely and whether they can afford to cast away an half empty mag.
