played GTA 5 for the first time yesterday. Man i can understand why this game is so well recieved. The map is huge.....really gigantic. The graphics, psyhics and such are big leaps over GTA 4. Story wise, i find it a TAD BIT less intresting then the previous GTA's. But the sandbox playstyle is so much better.
-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

Yeah I read somewhere that the map is more than twice the real life size of Manhattan. It'll be awhile before I get my hands on it, I don't feel like paying 300 USD/200 Euros/1000 Dirhams in shipping again so soon.

I played it recently at a friends place. It has really nice features but I think the driving physics are a big step into the wrong direction. Maybe they were exaggerated in GTA IV, I don't know, but now the cars literally drive like in NFS. Indestructible and the handling is just crazy.

Oh really? That sounds interesting to me. Is it more like GTA #3?

I usually imagine my own sounds with it, like `tjunk, tupdieyupdiedee` aaa enemy spotted, ratatatataboom

It is a step in this direction, I would say. But it feels like a random mix of GTA3 and GTA4 in terms of physics. I personally find it really hard to judge when a car gets out of control. In GTA3, you could predict it rather well. In GTA4 you knew that it would be out of control pretty fast. Here, I don't know.

No, I don't think so. Except the occasional rumors that both Microsoft and Sony paid Rockstar for an exclusive console release. Which doesn't mean that the game will not be released on PC. Some people expected a release for christmas 2013, but it seems christmas 2013 will be reserved for selling new consoles and console games. I believe the PC release will come probably on easter 2014.

Finally Rockstar released the system specifications for Grand Theft Auto V PC. Almost had given up hope that we would witness this during our lifetime. And they announced a delay in the release schedule. How unexpected, as it is kinda 2 years late.

Turns out, that I hit the recommended specifications for the videocard, but fail to fulfill the minimum specifications for the CPU.

The specs are quite low even on recommended, but goddamnit! 65GB for 1 game! That's a quarter of my gaming SSD! Gotta clean that Steam install folder, I guess...

Any of you folk have GTA V on PC? If so, you can add me on Steam (Kalkalash).

That I do now.  Main gripe- why is there no ability to map joystick for plane controls?  Keyboard simply sucks for controlling a plane....

Use a gamepad instead.

<shivers>  Not a fan of gamepads for flying a plane, or for shooters in general.  I'll try it, but I really wish I could use my joystick.
