I should note, the shoulder stock 30cal only started seeing service in late 1944, so it's appropriate that it is only on a few maps,  It also NEVER got widespread use like the BAR which was issued to every single squad.  Also, the point of FH2 is balance by maps, not weaponry.  You just sorta have to live with the fact that the BAR was probably the worst combat-performing LMG of WW2.

Mostly because it was an LMG from WW1.
It's half naked people on boats. That's all.
Here in Finland we call that "summer".

The sprint and stamina change seems to be a step in the direction of making FH2 more like FH1. It also had one constant speed that was a bit slower than what has been 'sprint' in FH2 so far. And given that FH1 was more popular in its hey day than FH2 ever was(sad but undeniably true) this will probably end up being a good change.

I remember back when FH2 was first coming out an awesome mapper for FH1 called realbadseed(Tulagi island, Saipan-1944) was actually arguing for an 'Fh1-like' slower but constant running speed for FH2. He was unhappy with sprint (and other things I assume) and never went on to map for FH2. Funny that the FH2 devs FINALLY came around to his way of thinking(just took 5 years for it to happen. lol). Then again 5 years is a long time.  A lot of the present day devs probably weren't even working on the mod then.

It is simply a particle effect. There are butterflies flying in certain places on Falaise.

Not all wore them.  IIRC it is not gonna be common though, and would mostly be something for Ostfront....

Also, nope, the MG42 in 2.4 fired at exactly the same rate as the MG34 due to engine limitations, and removal of the "two shot" thing.  But, kev finally got it to fire a real 1200 rpm, so now it's finally shooting at full speed. ;)

I don't think I've ever seen the old MG42 reloading animation anyway, I never stay alive with the MG42 long enough to reload :D.

I haven't tried it yet to see how it affects gameplay, but the stamina bar was always one of the most ridiculously unrealistic elements of BF/FH2. When I first started playing FH2, it just cracked me up that I was supposed to be a soldier who has been through basic and probably a few years of war already, yet, when I'm being chased by a Panther I can only run for about 30 seconds before I have to find a patch of tall brush to take a nap in. I mean, I know my soldier probably smokes a pack of Lucky Strikes every hour, but this was before McDonalds made everyone morbidly obese.

I've noted a lot of people saying this will make maps seem tiny and such, but I see this is a separate mapmaking issue. The fact of the matter is if the army found out you couldn't physically run for more than 30 seconds while being chased by a tank, you probably would have been given a medical exemption or relegated to the kitchen.
