A plea to help save Flippy's polar cousins!

As climate change melts the Arctic ice, oil companies are moving in to extract more of the fossil fuels that caused the melt in the first place. But above the Arctic circle, freezing temperatures, a narrow drilling window and a remote location mean that an oil spill would be almost impossible to deal with. It's a catastrophe waiting to happen. Greenpeace is working to halt climate change and to stop this new oil rush at the top of the world.

they had the same thing at Hove this year, "sign here and we will spend millions and polute even more, just to plant your name in a capsule under the artic and effectivly do nothing to stop global warming"

my friend signed it, i told them they made mr.bean look like a rocket scientist.

Can't we just sign a petition "Stop all the evil in the world"? it would be much more effective i think.

Electric car?.. The range of those things is disappointing, charging times are ridiculous, visual design is hideous and I can't hear a beautiful fuel guzzling engine snore when I press the pedal to the metal. Oh and the price of course.. But yeah, never an electric car for me. I mean it, never ever ever. Even if they enforce it I'll stop driving or something. Or get a helicopter.
