Keyboard problem

When in game it does not respond to my keyboard. I've gone in to options and reset my controls to default but it doesnt help. My mouse works fine, its just my keyboard. anyone know of a solution?  ???

also make sure to apply all changes made to the default settings.

alternative: re-install

If that doesn't work then get back to the forum and post your PC specifications such as operating system, RAM, video card, and the version of BF2 that you have installed (like BF2 complete, Steam, original disc, etc.).

Before going the route of a reinstall, check if your profile folder is by any chance write protected. It once happened to another guy.

In profile properties, in the permissions for system everything is set to 'allow'. But under General 'Read only' is checked, should it be checked?  :-\

No, it should not. Try unchecking it.
