Few ideas

1)Changing time conditions. It gets darker when time progresses etc.
 
2)No health bar for tanks.

3)Foliage for tanks. When a tank respawns you either get one with or without foliage on green maps. 

4)Disable the possibility to repair a tank when not in main base.

5)Berge tiger that can repair tanks in the field.

6)M3 grant recovery tank that can repair tanks in the field.

7)Sherman with dozerblade.

8)Sherman with mine clearing device.

9)Stationary ambulances and field hospital in main base. (to give the impression that wounded are being taken care of)

10)Make the mortar less accurate.
Instead of the all seeing eye view, you see what the spotter sees trough the binocular.


I dont know if some things are mentioned before or if they are possible.

Too much work for a little eye candy... Also it seems unrealistic as the battles only last for an hour at max. Personally I'd love it but it's not suited for FH 2... PR on the other hand... sure!
 
2)No health bar for tanks.

Already discussed but the general consensus is that they will stay. Personally I'd like them removed and some other means to communicate tank status added (voice, smoke, checking with a wrench, only with tank kit etc).

3)Foliage for tanks. When a tank respawns you either get one with or without foliage on green maps. 

Impossible due to engine limitations (the random part). Foliage we will probably get at some point.

4)Disable the possibility to repair a tank when not in main base.

Not a good idea, IMO it requires map rebalancing. Adding repair pads on some flags, why not?

We already have the wrench but I don't see why not.

Just answering a few:

2) Nope, the tank health bar is needed. I can speak for myself I would jump out everytime my tank was damaged and repair ALOT to make sure it´s on full health again, keeping it out of battle for a long time. Yes, I´m a pussy.

3) YES!!!!!

4) That would keep the tanks out of the battle. Everyone would jsut drive the thing back to base and repair it there. The team that needs the tank is without support then.

5) Do we have a CoH player here? Well, I say no to a Bergetiger as only 2 existed and were used in Italy in who knows what role. A Bergepanther would be more appropriate and even then I would say: No. It doesn´t fit into the game and it would look strange.

7) Role? We already have the one with hedge cutters. I don´t know what a dozerblade can do, seeing that rubble and stuff cant be moved in FH2.

8) To counter the few minekits we have on Normandy maps? It would be basically useless.

Now that Butcher mentioned it, i actually noticed that most of the suggestions in fact come from CoH. I'm thinking that foliage on tanks would be cool, but it would increase the poly count on vehicle models that foliage on tanks will become a huge lagfactory. But to topic:
1) not needed or possible
2) indifferent for me
3) see above wall of text
4) it would be annoying mostly, but it would make tanker more careful of what they are doing.
5 and 6) another texture and model on a map to be loaded, adding up to loading time and lag?
7 and 8) no use, blocks the hull mg, see 5 and 6
9) GREAT for immersion, adds up to the texture load unfortunately
10) More deviation, yes, spotter view, no

And you are back in the base with a new, fully stocked with ammo tank!
I guess it wouldn't work for Tigers and Matildas. Oh and Ramelle would be fun with that.

Ok, then: possible, but not needed

True, it is not needed for day maps. But on dawn maps like Luttich or Villers it would be interesting to have changing lighting conditions, for a variety sake, maybe somewhat sped up than IRL.

This is why the recovery tank can do repairs in the field, so the you dont have to return to the base.

I like the first person shooting stuff more than strategy. And since the balance in coh is getting more fked up after every patch, i stopped playing a couple months ago.

The dozerblade was used as hedgerow cutter too.

Agreed we need more minekits first.
