Six clips from season 2 episode 1: The North Remembers.

I'm really glad they are showing Robb's campaign in the River and Westerlands. He's not a POV character in the books so you miss out on nearly all his adventures.

Approximately 7 times better than the TV series.

Edit: I'm disappointed if Vargo Hoat rides a boring horse.

Can't wait to see Dany wearing a Quartheen gown. :D
Too bad I'm not at home at the 1st April, so I have to wait untill Friday to watch it. If the 2nd season will be as good as the first, it'll easily become one of the best book-adaptions ever.

This serie is great. The books even better

Also arya is awesome. If i had a daughter like that=Faith in humanity restored!

And a great series, alot of nudity , even gay nudity. But still, that makes it kinda realistic

In a room sit three great men, a king, a priest, and a rich man with his gold. Between them stands a sellsword, a little man of common birth and no great mind. Each of the great ones bids him slay the other two. 'Do it,' says the king, 'for I am your lawful ruler.' 'Do it,' says the priest, 'for I command you in the names of the gods.' 'Do it,' says the rich man, 'and all this gold shall be yours.' So tell me- who lives and who dies?

Just finished season 1. Great show I am very curious what will happen next

I do find 2 things dissappoiting

-The death of Ned stark. i loved his character
-The lack of large battles. They say there was a huge battle but they dint "Made it" in the series....dissapointing but it doesnt ruin the series

I am very looking forward to season 2 i say!

That´s George R.R. Martin. Just because a character seems to be "important", doesn´t mean he can´t be killed. It´s what sets "ASOIAF" apart from other fantasy series. There are no real "good" and no real "bad" characters and everyone´s life can end any minute. There´s no super hero who makes it through everything unscathed. It´s as close to real life as it can get.

AFAIK that was a budget reason. In the first book there actually was a major battle, but doing such a thing in a TV serie on a tight budget is quite difficult. Season 2 will hopefully contain a great, fiery battle.

Oh, and read the books. They´re awesome. ;)

Seeing the high amount of viewers, i sure we will see indeed such a thing.

The tight budget does not take any other quality. Everything else is top notch done. THe props, the actors, the characters.

If this series continues like this but leaves out huge battles, i find this a good compromise and i will keep watching!

And who knows? they might make a very long feature film about the battle. Lets say one day the series ends, or because of the high profits they make a direct to video film of the battles?
All possible
