We have yet to decide the exact server settings for this event since we are taking a step aside from the regular 64p mayhem. I'd like to know YOUR opinion what kind of settings we should be having for this special event. Should we...

1) Have normal ticket ratios despite playing with 64 players, but have two rounds of each map so both teams get to play both sides?

2) Have extra ticket ratio to counter very fast matches and have a time limit to balance this out?

3) Get a cookie-cutter setting for all maps and play them as regular 64p event?

4) Do accordingly to your idea which is...?

64 players on a map like Gazala 16? That would be interesting, I'll see if I can make this match. I don't think normal ticket ratio is a good idea though.

I would maybe put just more tickets to make rounds last longer.

I'd go with option 2) Just add tickets and balance it out with limited time.
If the map turns out to be bad, having to play it twice might be annoying.

Time limit indeed seems like the way to go. Add enough tickets to make the rounds last, if you guys outkill the timer, then thats all fine and dandy, but the sole purpose of the timer is to limit the round times so we wont play some map for several hours.  :P

We can always skip maps too if need to be. I personally like the second option too. Also the server will of course remain open for any replays which people might want to go through, so even after the first rotation of maps, the server remains open. I will most likely end my session after the last map and from that point on forward theres possibly no admin support present since the GN event itself is officially over, however I hope players will keep on playing as long as they wish. Heck, one time we had a GN server populated like day and half after the event was over, that was pretty effing sweet.

I like the option 1) mainly because you can play on both side, but because we mostly never played on those maps except PdH 32(thats mainly why I voted for PdH), if it turns out to be bad, I will prefer to just skip the map instead of playing it another time on the other side. So I go with option 2)

aww I hoped for Sidi Rezegh. 32p version is so damn epic. Wished for supercharge as well, a map not played nearly enough.

but yeah I vote for option 1. Long since I played 32/16p, but if the rounds are over in 10 minutes, then increase ticket count instead.

I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso

Due to daylight savings crap, please notice the starting time is 1800 UTC (remains the same for your local time).

you guys don't need to worry about the games ending too quickly. The main issue that you will confront with some of the smaller maps is the absence of mainbase uncaps and ABC areas.

If you want real fun on the small maps, PDH, Port en Bessin, Siege of Tobruk, Giarabub are the best imo.
