Well put kelmola, you can never trust EA with listening to their audience or doing any good to the series.

DICE LA seems to be a bit better but I hardly believe they have any power over bringing battlefield back to it's glory days.

- It wont have a story campaign.
- It wont have space battles.
- It will be riddled with DLC, including a free one after a month of release.
- Jedi, Vader, Fett as special characters.
- 70 bucks for PC version, fuck that.
- Only on Origin, fuck that.

Arousal was brief, but good.

Exactly. Want A-wing fighter? Tie-bomber? Pay extra $10 to purchases (or worse, to unlock).

If it is EA, please return to your seat and mash your shit. Reality sinks in yet? Good!

I'm just waiting for the trailer with "a whole bunch of upcoming DLC's" at the end, before the game is even out. That will make my day. Ah well it was fun to dream of new battlefront for a bit :D.

Skyrim now has paid mods in steam workshop. A lot of modders are uploading their recent versions on steam workshop and charging money, while deletting or having a really outdated version on skyrim nexus.

Wet and cold steam workshop : 2.0
on skyrim nexus: 1.4

Fuck this fucking shit. Only dlc i ever bought was napoleonic warfare for warband and that was basically an expansion, i'll never fucking buy any fucking mod.

I got wet and cold already. Fuck that guy.

The backlash has been intense towards this change. I think TotalBiscuit summed up how _I_ felt about the whole ordeal quite well. It's great that modders can get money out of it... it just doesnt necessarily work exactly how intended due to all sorts of stupid shit involved.

It's preposterous to think that modern gamer has to pay for anything from a bit of a soundtrack to a singular asset within a game. I don't think any money should be charged for anything less than a full-fledged expansion pack or a critically acclaimed mod with a similar scope to FH2 or PR. It's impossible to regulate such a market, and I think it's gonna sting the industry bitterly.

Valve squeezing out competitors off the market while squeezing money from the consumers. Thats how the world turns these days. I think its great that legitimate modders who actually make extensive additions and changes to games, such as total conversion, HD graphics, sound overhauls etc can get paid for it as long as the prices are fair and not ridiculous, but the misuse of this is potentially really devastating for both modders and consumers. People ripping off assets without a permission from FH2 has been a trend ever since the beginnin of the mod and I wouldnt be surprised to see people trying to make a buck out of them once a workshop platform that supports such assets becomes available.
