I also hope that they won't impact performance much..

It wont affect one little bit.


Videos you will see before the release will of course showcase these new shaders.

Screen09 is that a deployable BAR? (as in window deployable) :o

I don't know what to say about film grain effect... I did kinda like it in Mass Effect but after a while it just started to annoy me...

Ok i looked the video of 2.4 teaser and another video.
In my eyes 2.4 looks more blurry, which I first though is of youtube quality.

Some of the pics looks like stalker pics, there you also have so many viewable pixles.

The trailer has the effects, so watch it and judge about it afterwards, if you actually see a difference...

oh, i trough it was edited, not ingame.

not liking it a bit :/, makes dificult to see at long ranges

seriously tho, how come the 3p models in all FH2 trailers are so high-poly (Thompson in this one)? I want my game to look as detailed too :(

Why is that bad exactly? Makes more sense that your vision isn't perfect in a snowstorm (or in a desert)

yes, but that can be made with snow effects in the map itself, instead of those shaders in everymap, even in the clistar clear sky maps.

Let's list all the previously unseen content found in the video:

-Snowing effect
-New running sounds
-New distant tank sounds
-New map

The vehicles were German. From left to right: Panther-Panzer III-Hanomag-Tiger II
The AT gun was probably a 57mm M1 AT Gun or a 76mm M5 AT Gun

That's what it look liked to me, at least.

I think, we all should wait and stop judging, until we see it ingame. To my mind, nothing can transport the mute, that you get ingame, even not a picture. Every screenshoot of the actual version 2.3, I made, seems to lower the fantastic mute, that is given by the mod at the moment and will be given in the future. So we should start trinking tea and wait for the release ;)

Btw: I like what I see  ;D

I gotta say that I kinda like the shaders... the film grain is a strange choice but the color correction is beautiful i think... giving every level that unique feel. I really enjoy the PeB screen :) they look awsome, really gives that dawn sort of feeling.

Idk I find it very interesting... i really can't wait to see it in game

^ if it is so it will be good to prevent long range pixel accuracy sniping!  ;)
