^ What, no skis? I will be very disappointed if no Finnish map in the future of FH2 will feature skis!  :P

Against popular belief, we didnt ski during summer until the roller-ski's were invented.

I found in files  some of french stuff like that airplaine, french win and lose song,... Dont be angry on me but everytime french devs realised some mappack they wrote "there isnt french army, vehlicle in it until maps arent officilal but you have Panhard :P".Is that mean that there were  more french vehlicle never shown and maybe army or they were troling when they were saying that( there wasnt anything made)?

There is quite a lot of french content in game files, but definately not enough to release an early war theatre, and since French Hope project was scrapped, this content is unfinished and it is unlikely that anybody will work on it, when there are no maps for it under development. None of the french models were officialy released, you could use the Panhard you talking about on their maps, as it was made (or ported from FH1) by French Hope developers but it has nothing to do with any models FH2 devs made.

I asked because Im here from mid 2014 and by then French mod died and that Stoone map minimap looks nice. When you tipe Battle of Stoone 1940 first picture is this.

But can you say that this map+Somua+Panhard(they maybe made or one from FH2 devs)+French voices was pretty close to at least one Franch map.I said pretty

- what makes you think this map was release ready?
- what about rest of the vehicles?
- what about static weapons like artillery, AT guns, MGs?
- what about french hand weapons and player models?
- what about early German equipment?

Do you really believe you can create an enjoyable, and historically accurate map with only two vehicles? Add to that hours and hours of codding work needed to make models work in game as intended and bug free. This map may be set up in France, but since it's an early war scenario with new army taking part of it, releasing such map would be like adding a completely new front. I don't think FH2 will release half finished map, and the one with all the placeholder was released as a custom map by French Hope team IIRC.

Playing the devils advocate

Content with placeholders is better than no content.

Content with placeholders is better than no content.

Not necessarily for a lot of reasons. But personally I play with placeholder/bug filled content every day in the beta and it's not 'fun.'  It's nothing compared to regular FH2 even if we're in a test session with a good amount of players.

Besides that I could make the argument that all our Normandy content is 'placeholder' for the EF and so just use your imagination and enjoy that :P

No jan has right. It wasnt stuff to make this map and with using placeholders. But there were 10-12 of them as I saw on ModDB and still progress was little.. Also there are French statics like houses from Western front, that is big part of mapping.
Forgoten hope(africa and western front)-enough to call exist
Eastern Front- in progress
French hope-died
Hungarian front-??? but probably near death
Chinese front-???-in progress
Pacific front- communitys just portred it from FH1
Italian front- there isnt, but communities has it with using greek statics

French hope-died

Don't lose faith in French Hope :) maps are the biggest and hardest part of putting together anything. And a good map can give a modeler an incredible amount of motivation. If you can make an amazing map for early war France, I don't think it would go to waste.

Actually Forgotten Honor devs created plenty of Italian statics and maps with them. I think some of these maps have enough quality to be officially released...

The Italian campaign is something that I always wanted to have in Forgotten Hope Two.

I agree. Especially Battle of Salerno rocked hard.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
