As long as they fix the tanks, I can agree with 2.46. I don't even need the Eastern front that soon :P

I would honestly prefer that situation. The worst nightmare is an Eastern-Front expansion with a broken or not sufficiently worked out tank system. And by worked out I mean tested on public servers.

When u talk about fixing tanks, do you mean the penetration bug?  Imho, worst than that, it's the inability of some tanks to start moving forward when facing any kind of elevation.  It feels so wrong.    :-\

I agree with QPS and Pejsaty, tanks suck on hills.  I think I could get out and push it up the hill better than driving it.  Give em some power for peads sacks.  Right now its like "oh look a tiger i guess ill just slowly start moving and hope he doesnt hit me."  ::)

It's the same for halftracks and even jeeps. It was added to make driving slopes somewhat realistic, but it's overdone indeed. Sometimes you can't move forward at all because of a tiny bump in the ground in front of you. Especially the halftracks are horrible with this.

I have noticed with half tracks and jeeps that when you move up a hill, you just need to wait a couple seconds to "take effect". :P

Yes, if you tried to hold your heavy armored vehicle on a slope like that in real life, with the engine revolving and your clutch gripping, you would probably overheat your clutch and make it jam. But hey, it's 2.45, everything is possible ;)

We once tried to go just a few yards uphill in reverse gear with a Volkswagen T5 bus on a ski tour in the alps.
Well, we all sat in the thing, 8 ppl including snowboarding gear. Let's say by the time we got it rolling and going backwards uphill to the intersection we wanted to get back to, the clutch could be smelt very well inside the vehicle ^^. That's what I always remember when hanging on a slope in FH2 nowadays.
Kind Regards / MfG

I'll say it again... Guys, there are roads on the map for a reason. Use them!
