Rules and general information for Grizzly Hunt in text form:

- Grizzly Hunt is a special event aimed for You, the forum regulars, but anyone who knows about this event can take part of it, but to receive the signature and recognition for proud kills you have to be a registered member in these forums.

- First proud kill will receive a special first place signature while the rest of the succesful proud kills will receive the regular signature. Please note that any and every proud kill are only taken into count if the player has an account in these forums. So for example if randomplayer1 does a succesful kill before forummember1 but doesnt have a forum account here to confirm the kill, the latter will receive the first place reward!

- Only melee weapon kills are counted as proud kills. Killing the Warbear with any other weapon does not count.

- TeamKilling the Warbear does not count as a proud kill either. You have to be in an opposing team in order to acquire a proud kill!

- You must post a screenshot of the kill. All deaths caused by melee weapons are recorded by Warbear aswell, so you cannot cheat!

- Screenshot must show at least one of these:
A)Kill message in upper left corner of your HUD indicating you have succesfully killed a Warbear with a melee weapon.
B)Kill message in the left side of your screen close to the bottom saying "You have killed Warbear".
C)Corpse of the Warbear.
D)All of these options.

- When you have posted a screenshot of a succesful kill into this thread, you will receive a private message containing your signature.

Happy hunting!

Oh my, I need to get my screenshot button working. I have a small hunch that half the opposing will run around with knives just to skin Flippy :P.

Auto-balance is on. So you'll never have such scenario.

I hope it's possible to set it.. looser than normally. Nothing sucks more than not being able to play with friends in a game night.

I hope there's an admin present who could switch players between teams upon request.

I sense that what goals the maps might have originally had are ignored, because the game will now obviously focus on bear-hunting. Also, I foresee that a Finnish "game warden" team "KARJALAN KARHU" who will protect endangered warbears from naughty trophy hunters will be near the top of the score list every time ;)

By the way, are the usual rules concerning attacking uncap flags relaxed? Because if they are not, it might be a wee bit difficult to wrestle down a bear who has a known fondness for artillery guns ;D
