2 questions.
« on: 30-08-2010, 08:08:43 »
Question 1:
when I look at what people post on the forums I think there is lots of players.... when I play on FH2 there is only 1 maybe 2 heavily populated servers and 2 to 3 more less populated. So have I been reading the same people post loads or are there a lot of players who are able to play when I can't.

Question 2: can anyone tell me a ratio or percentage (dosen't matter if it's not very accurate) of players of FH2 or the regular BF2 are using a hack of some kind.

Thanks flying fool..... battle name lomond_south.... suckish name for a suckish player.
P.S if anyone has seen me play FH2 you know I don't hack. i have a dl limit on internet so i don't download 1 nor do I know how to program 1 so .... i play the game for fun and friendly cometition.

Well, to partyl answer you.

The number of people on the forums is not agood representation of th players on servers @ any given time

1/ Whereas people on the foum can post as and when showing everyone at once, the servers are in Real time so all those people (With diffrent time zones) will not be on all at once. It does show however by the prevailence of the servers throughout the day. People leave when it gets too late or they have RL issues to deal with, and others take their place - Even then, there is stll down time.. but that goes for the forum also. Just that, since it isn't real time, you might not always notice it... unless you talk as much as I do

2/ Different server locations skews the number of people active at any given time

3/ Not all those on the forums can play online or have PCs powerful enough to even play FH2

4/ There are the small group of 'supporters, not players'

Welcome back flying fool.

Question 1:
when I look at what people post on the forums I think there is lots of players.... when I play on FH2 there is only 1 maybe 2 heavily populated servers and 2 to 3 more less populated. So have I been reading the same people post loads or are there a lot of players who are able to play when I can't.

There is a constant European player base of about 100-150 players for FH2 every day, if you fall into a region outside of Europe, say your from the USA, then you might want to join a tournament like BFEWAW where people organize games on every weekend.

Question 2: can anyone tell me a ratio or percentage (dosen't matter if it's not very accurate) of players of FH2 or the regular BF2 are using a hack of some kind.

In small mods like FH2 the percentage of hacks is almost non existent. Anyone found hacking is known by name and banned, so don't worry about that. To be safe try playing on a well admined server like HSLAN. In BF2 you get around 10% of the players that use bots.
If you die alot in FH2 it's not due to hacks, but more due to people having played it for ages and being really good at it. Just bare with us and you will see the fun will come! (Plus the next patch will have some nice changes. ;) )

Very noble of you, I will have a lookout for your name, then we'll have a small FH2 schooling if you like.

Cheers N24

Lolwut, so every full server you enter has 6 hackers in it? The percentage is very low. Like 0,1 or even 0,01. It's just that they seem to be in greater numbers because you don't notice those moments they aren't around as much. Which way outnumber the moments there's an aimbotter around.

FH2 has no hackers. Perhaps one or two with a wallhack (I had a round or two on Luttich where every tank got sniped through hedgerows from the other side of the map) but nothing more.

I know we had one hacker who kept making new accounts and got banned time after time again. He used wallhacks.  His name was "classical_music" and later "hiphop3748529" or something.

Simply as everyone said=you hack=your fucked for the entire mod. Even if you get a new name or anything else, people will still recognize you after a while.

Ok 1% then, it was just a house-number but you do notice them compared to mods. :)

I could tell you at least I'm very sure that in WOLF I barely see a hacker. I think it is almost the same in Hslan.

There are people with incredible skills and it is really beyond most people's imagination. People like Anubisanpu seemed to know where you are all the time but actually that's not only because of his own nerves but also reports from his squadmates/teammates.

You don't need to be a very skilled fighter in order to enjoy FH2, learn your strengths and weaknesses, and find your own way of enjoying the game.
