So basically that's the reason it's a 1sk weapon? Or was it made solely to simulate the rof?

I hink at that low a rate of fire it would seem weird.

@SgT radman: No it is 1s1k because it uses rifle ammo.

It's rifle calibre, one round kills anyway. I believe that is just for rof. And when firing full auto, those 2 bullets wont fly at same direction, as far as I know, they spread seperately.

Edit: Ts4ever was faster but posted anyway....

give STG rifle bullet, most times in this game it is better to have a KAR or g43 when germany, when im sure the STG was "better" in real life.

It wasn't better, it was more versatile. You can use the StG44 both as a machine pistol and as a reasonable rifle over long ranges.

And then there's the fact that t didn't use a full rifle cartridge.

True, the 7.92x33 mm AKA 7.92 Kurz was SPECIFICALLY created for this weapon. The standard german rifle round was 7.92x57mm, so there's 57-33=24 mm less space for gunpowder, meaning weaker round.
I'd rather play Kimble with my ass!

not really weaker. Firepower of the Kurz was still big.

The problem with the 7.92MMx56 was that it created to much recoil (they did considerd making a Bren gun clone)

It was pretty simple yet very very inovative to shorthen the round. I mean the world most famous Assault rifle has a Kurz round also for something

They will still complain no mather what. They are the kind of people who= Enter a battle, shoot 3 allied soldiers, or kill 4 tanks, and they then get killed by a sherman, and then they whine allied bias

Its who you keep whining all the time when Germans gets something new. Really stop it, if you wouldn't do it all the time maybe others wouldn't either. See here you started it again.

Never had problem with Germans weapons, except i hate K98 sights. With Garand its so easy to hit everything.

I used to be quite good with the K98, but nowadays I can't hit shit with it on medium to long ranges, and actually start to like the SMLE, which I hated before, because of the sights. But I've always hated the garand site, loose track of target really quickly.

But anyway, to stay on topic, a couple of questions:
So in BF/FH there's no issue with hitpoints? Just the hitlocation on the body and type of bullit decides wether you die or just get wounded?

And "semi" is not a rate of fire, it's a description. Weapons like the Garand can still be measured with how fast they can fire, right?

And is range (ie. bullit drop) not an issue at all anymore in FH2?
FH2 is the game, DarklyDreamingDexter is the name.

But thanks for the whole list, by the way. Didn't realise a lot of the weapons were so similar in specs. For example, after trying either of them I could've sworn the recoil on the Garand was more than that of the G43. :)

Bullets drop and lose power over distance, especially pistol ammo. And semi automatics can fire as fast as you can click the mouse.

Interesting thread, well done!
One thing that I found odd is the different left/right recoil between the M1 Carbine and the M1A1 Carbine. Is there any particular reason for it?
