Left 4 Dead is 17,99 € for this weekend. Get it now or you need to wait for a random discount opportunity for who knows how long. Its a good run for your money. I paid full price back then and it hasnt failed since.

General Discussion / Re: Comet?

Quote
The 11th Armoured Division was the first to receive the new tanks in December 1944 and the only division to be completely refitted by the end of the war. Because of its late arrival, the Comet did not participate in any major battles though it did see combat against the Germans. The Comet was involved in the crossing of the Rhine and the later Berlin Victory Parade in July 1945. The Comet's maximum speed of 32 miles per hour was greatly exploited on the German Autobahns.

That's just what Wiki says.

Comet didnt enter until the most latest stages of the war in europe, 1945. It was like the british equivalent to Pershing, meaning it was very rare and only saw a battle or two, if even that. It was too late for the Comet to have an effect on anything.

FH2 Help / Support / Re: FH 2.15 and Maps
« on: 02-05-2009, 13:05:10 »
To verify you have 2.15, try to make a local server or alternatively join a FH2 server, such as HSLAN.

When you are making a local server, look for maps such as:
- Tunis
- Fall of Tobruk
- Siege of Giarabub

If these maps are in your map list (for regular Conquest of course), you have 2.15 version.

If you choose to join servers like HSLAN, and you load in properly no matter which map is and you get to play, then you again have verified you have 2.15 version of FH2.

Normandy maps on the homepage are news from the upcoming 2.2 version which is currently in development. It will be released at later time for the public. Stay tuned!

Wounded finn being pulled on a sled in the village of Karhumäki very near to the lines where the finnish attacks in 41 and 42 were halted to at Maaselkä. Photo is from during the Red Army counterattack on Maaselkä and Syväri in the winter 41-42, close to the time when Mannerheim halted finnish movements on their tracks.

Sidi Rezegh & Siege of Tobruk, hands down.

The amount of detail on that map is just plain ludicrous. Puts up a fight against Lili's Tobruk and Sidi Rezegh in terms of small, endless details.

In the news tho, it says "Road to Carentan".

Nice map. Love the God's Whip on this map.
