Hah, depends of the country when you say "it pays good". Finns working in the army (working, not serving mandatory) dont get that classy pay, and I know this I know a couple of guys working in FDF. Im glad Im over with mine, I wouldnt go even one step inside those gates again, never.

When you open your map, you see arrows pointing at different flags. Red crosses incidate they cannot be captured while green circles incidate they are open for attacks. It sometimes takes a couple of seconds for the map to update itself once flags are captured. They are easy to notice.

Depends of the map really. And depends which Tobruk you mean. Fall of Tobruk or Siege of Tobruk?
In both cases, theres a frontline push-style. Multiple flags on one line that are open for attacks and capture attempts, but the flags behind the "frontline" are locked until flags connected to them are taken by the enemy.
Also, some maps do not simply have flag order in #1->#2->#3 and so on, some have semi-push modes for certain flags only while others are free to be played around with. And some maps are heavy-push modes like Alam el Halfa.
