I wonder how this Unreloadable garand myth actually came..

Probably from original COD :P

Okay now you are making it very very difficult

How bout a churchill with a drilling main gun?

Awesome!

2628

Drillings no doubt

Russia does not have gun with shotgun AND very large rifle bullet

Alright here's a tough one: MOAR Churchills and bombers or MOAR drillings?

How did you guys let a German get into my house?! There were 10 of you! 10!

Um... they were looking through the window like you? :P

Or you finally start listening to people smarter than you and realize it s going to be 1944.

Sure it will,  NOW... but suggestions will stay here for a bit longer right...  So there is a chance we will see earlier ostfront maps one day...

Main problem with using planes, is they need to take off from somewhere.  Which means the devs having to fully model the beaches.  IE, if there's a drop map for allies, you're not gonna see spawning planes, unless the devs can figure out a way to let people spawn in already flying planes (like it was in a couple FH1 maps).

Well if they don't want to do it they can always make it like in original Market Garden 1942... You spawn in the air on a chute with planes flying periodically above you...

There was only one small occasion, where the men where unloaded on the docks. The first man indeed got a rifle, the second ammo

The reason for this was because the troops had to reach the front ASAP, and it went faster this way. Also to get the men ASAP of the docks, wich despite of Heavy AA fire, was constant attacked by Stukas.
The reason why they gave the second man ammo was because there was a high chance the battlefield was litterd with rifles

This was only on the first hours of the unloading of reinforcements on the pier of the volga, during the counterattack

Then we need a unloading at Volga pier map ASAP... :P (with rifle kits littered everywhere and dead static soldiers ;))

Any frontal assault style map with the Russians on the attack(ie Stalingrad, but not limited to) should have specific kits similar to this:

Kit a) Kit with nothing but 5x Rounds for the Mosin Nagant

Kit b) Kit with a Mosin Nagant + 5x Rounds

Kit c)
Oh and a dude equiped with RED FLAG and a Pistolet Tokareva nothing more.

lol

Kit d) NCO's with PPSh-41's

Slightly Authentic, yo. lolol

Already suggested and not really historically accurate... (hell someone even suggested that 2 men share the same rifle - 1 provides the ammo an the other provides the rifle)... Commissars were also suggested...Flags were mostly kept in commander's tents IRC because losing it would have serious consequences for the commander... Still I'd like to see the flag kit, just for fun, sign here if you want it too: http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=13844.msg188772#new

General Discussion / Re: FH 128 hosting

The last time I played it the Brits backcapped El Daba without a fight and the Germans were stuck with the middle two flags, in the middle of the desert, with very few vehicles. Even though we had a pretty big lead in tickets at the time we still lost because of how long it took for infantry to walk all the way back to El Daba to take it back.

That's because nobody realised that it was turned off so nobody defended it...

Indeed increasing the number of vehicles affected server stability... el al was a lag fest (and suprisingly, half of the vehicles sat in the base unused, at least on British side)... I liked the removal of push mode on Supercharge, finally some action in El Daba... All in all there were a lot more tanks and it got kinda lame when they started camping... I feel the balance still isn't right.

P.S. Don't even try to suggest a Maus in the game, it's a mistake a lot of people make... (and are never seen or heard again)  ;)

And whats flying with a joystick then? - i dont have one and im always getting mad when i have to fly circles against someone who has one (dogfight). after some time you have to move the mouse back to its original position and you cant steer the plane in that second giving the player with a joystick a huge advantage. in fact i cant even fight proper dogfights because of the lack of a joystick.  ;D

Then fly with keyboard...  ;)
