studienka 64 coop crashes 5 or 10 minutes into the round, it seems to be a problem with the bots at the Studienka village flag, I tested it from german side and the soviet side once, and it crashed both times looking towards that flag.

Ok, I forgot to say that the problem is with the coop 32 version. Singleplayer and Conquest indeed work fine.

I already did that, it only downloads the new launcher with some 6 MB but the motovskiy folder has the exact same file size as before and it still crashes just like before.

Thanks for the fast answer.
I did a clean install with the new version. Then I noticed you can set it to include checking for cmp updates too, I did that and then the launcher chrashed every time after checking for updates.

After that, I installed the now old 2.55 Launcher from the website again, but didn´t change anything else. I could play on the public server, I could play the campaign and all coop stuff too. Only Motovskiy 32 crashed while loading in the objects stage, so I concluded it must be a problem with the objects in that version of the map.
I mean, how could an older launcher cause a problem with only one layer of a map?

The 32p version of Motovskiy Bay always crashes to desktop while loading, at around 15% in the object phase without any message in windowed mode. the 16 and 64 versions work though.

Even after the patch of first of July, the soviets still have spawns at the two hedgerows with stones and a tree trunk in front of the 53. Guards Tank Brigade flag when the germans capped it. Most of the time they get ignored by german tanks already at the guards flag and pose a major problem.

I hope this gets fixed, otherwise the map is really cool (I think the AT-guns and MGs at the flag respawn too fast, but that might just be me ;))

I am a Fan of this Channel since a few years and thought I would let you guys know about this most interessing channel. Since most of the players of Forgotten hope appear to be history fans and the videos are well researched and of good quality, I hope that you can enjoy it as much as I can. It might even be of interest for the Developers in certain aspects ;)

Hi,

I would like to keep the old K98k first person animations, because I don´t like how the soldier runs with the rifle in one hand. So, would one of you guys tell me which files I need to keep for that where to place them in order to run etc.?

This should also be fine with multiplayer right, as TS4Ever used the new animation for the rifle in its lets plays whereas everyone els had the standard animations?

At first I wanted to vote for new maps, but then I thought about what is needed for new maps: new statics and maybe one or another new vehicle... Otherwise the maps look relatively similar, and the eastern front at the moment lacks a few vehicles and statics(as it is in its beginning)

Oh, and about the maps: the community maps(and I have seen all of the available ones) mostly are not that good.
I think the devs make a better Job at that.
There are some maps that I like, for example sidi muftah or el agheila, but if I think of westwall for example...

The Italian Army is represented and made.  The Hungarian is not.  Their uniforms, weapons, gear, etc, are all unique to the Hungarians.  The closest thing they have to anything FH2 has is their helmet, but even that would have to be modified as it was not exactly the same as the German helmets.  Plus you'd have to make Hungarian voices, which in of itself would be a challenge without any suitable voice actors.

There did, in fact, use to be work on a mini-mod by a few individuals for the Hungarian military, but that dried up and died.  I have no idea if the assets are even around anymore, and they never really moved far beyond tank models and a few weapons.  Point is, the FH2 dev team is small and only has a few active devs at any one point.  We cannot really create a brand new entire faction out of thin air- the dev team needs to work with the assets it has on hand.

I know that the hungarian army would have to be made by someone. I know that especially voices are impossible to make without fitting voice actors. And I know that the developpers don´t have much time.

I did not ask for the whole hungarian army because I knew the developpers dont have time to spare.
I just asked for 1 or 2 tanks, and if the balancing would be a problem. Nothing more.

If I thought the devs had loads of time I could suggest completely different things like early war things, but the devs are making the late eastern front and working on maps for that, and THERE a toldi or turan or something like that could fit.

And if I suggested to add the whole hungarian army, it would not be a minor suggestion;)

Well, on the africa maps for example there are italian tanks or planes even if the italian army itself is not represented.

I don´t really know, but I think the hungarian army didn´t have equipment that would make them unique in fh2, or at least not enough to make a whole faction of.
If they had I would like to be proven otherwise
