Maybe that happened on a Thursday when CMP has Axis and Allied training on 2 servers.  It's usually about 20 players each.

I'm more concerned about a top-killer using low settings.  I don't care if FART GAS fixed his problem or not.

Don't set it to low.  Just one level less than you have it.  Medium perhaps.  Low removes other things that you may want or your opponents want you to have ;).

Is that the CV 33?  Why don't you include a link to it?
I got a China map in progress that could use that.

Expect an update to the maps before Saturday, especially Khalkhin Gol.  An old version got loaded by mistake.

It's not too late to join guys.  Get some Pacific action on classic Iwo Jima.  Who knows when you will see it again.

General Discussion / Re: Blinking flag

We had to remove that for our campaigns.  It ruined our play style.  People didn't need to watch the flag and people couldn't hide in the flag zone.  That's very important for us.
but isn't that obvious? and how is that related? you run your campaign on a minimod anyway  ???
What? I can't post obvious stuff.  Well excuse me.
Anyway, we tried it for like 3 battles.  So it wasn't obvious to everyone.

BTW, back-capping(not pre-capping) levels the playing field for high-ping low-skill players like me.  It's pretty much all I do in pubby along with AT gun whoring.  That's the beauty of early Battlefield.  You don't have to be "good" to make a difference.  If it wasn't for that, I would just play more golf.

The towable pak is in FH2.  It's just not on a map maybe.

fh2\objects_vehicles_server.zip\Vehicles\Land\DE\sdkfz7\sdkfz7_pak40

I think there is a Bedford QLT with a 6 pdr in its bed too.  They've both been there for years.

IIRC they are less buggy than most CMP stuff but maybe too buggy for FH2 to actually put it on a map.
MAybe they were on Aberdeen or some other discontinued map.

IIRC, BF2 is incompatible with 8.1.  You need to run it in compatibility mode and administrator and possibly windowed mode to make it work halfway stable.

You have some rather naive ideas about how people gain rank in this game.  Top-rankers have mastered camping parallel to ABC, for example.   Some top guys have never sat in a tank but have just played Annie Oakley(rifle witch) for years to get where they are.

You and your friends should joint the tournament if you want to see FH2 with consistent teamwork and qualified tankers(usually).

You are right about local speech.  If only FH2 Mumble would be revived and integrated, it would change the game considerably.
