You could say the same thing about the half of German equipment left in April 1945. Sure, there were probably more Flak 36/37 in use, but visually it's pretty close match and it blends in with the overall grey-ish tone of the map.

Looking good already. Grey Flak is a nice touch  :)

Looks like fun map. Glad to see Wespe on the vehicle list... hopeing one of the Blitz is an ammunition carrier ;)

The idea about the static Tiger I was to simulate the lack of fuel, the tank to be used could be a different one.

Liking the idea. Maybe placing the Tiger behind some obstacle/another tank wreck would give it a bit more protection, similar to the one at Altonaer Straße:

Absolutely agree on using more unique AFVs on the map, incl. "ad hoc" solutions or those that were not necessarily the latest or most efficient types. Sd.Kfz.251/22 and Sd.Kfz.234/4 (vehicles that we don't have ATM) were both very common in Berlin and in urban fighting scenario they'd probably function better than a non-static Pak 40 in terms of agility, speed. Anyway, looking forward to updates on this map  8)

Agreed on the panzerfausts and non-static Pak 40(s). Not too sure about the fixed 88, it would be always easy to wipe out from a distance, this would also apply to the Tiger I since it also opposes no threat to heavier Soviet tanks, esp. when facing head-on (IS-2's frontal armour is impenetrable).
Few Panzer IV/70(V) were used to defend Berlin, that might be suitable due it's low profile and rare appearance of the vehicle. Even one "Stuka zu fuß" might work well, considering it as a balance factor and the fact they were there.

there is a M26 Pershing tho, a map using that one would be great too!

Hehe, we need Cologne and fast  :o
Why? I would rather like to see it fighting in the open fields, you won't use its potential in a close quarter urban combat.

Half of the (known) engagements happened in that area, Niehl being another example - ideal for long range combat, but then again we don't have a Hornisse. This would offer more balance, than other scenarios with the nerfed down Tiger I.

Osterode am Harz would be great, an endkampf map with Americans vs. Germans with a Tiger II, Tiger I, Jagdpanzer IV, StuG III, Hetzer - and even a Jagdtiger  8)

Any tweaks to the IS-2's resilience? It really seems up "there" with the Tiger II (or higher). For example, Geballte ladung 3 Kg on the engine deck won't inflict that much damage, when in reality the chassis roof was 30mm thick - making it also vulnerable to the 105 mm leFH rounds (given the right angle/ricochet).

Aah the "standard" one. Nice 'n thanks

Is there new Tiger skins?

Any updates for the tanks, such as more powerful engine sounds, track clanking...? If so, I am interested for sure.

Uuuu, I like that SdKfz 251/10 Ausf. C.
Maybe there is a possibility to see a SdKfz 139 "Marder III" in some Ostfront map? It's refreshing to see these older vehicles being used/recycled in mid-late battles: a Lend-lease Valentine would be also great, a tank that was much valued by the Red Army.

Just if I could "wish" for a brand new vehicle, it definitely would be a Hornisse + Hummel (+ Munitionsträger), also considering that they share the same platform. Hornisse's gun would be equal to the Ferdinand's, incl. the gunsight and Hummel's equal to Wespe's, just with the added punch. Well, that would be the dream anyway.

Thank you to the FH team, worldwide.

Nerfed Tiger I?

I did a bit of experimenting in Dukla Pass (coop), replacing the German armor by StuGs and most of the Soviet armor by IS-2, ISU-152 and T-34-85 late. Suprisingly, the bots could deploy StuGs quite well against the Red tanks, me being mostly an observer. Also, the tank riders weren't that keen to abandon the vehicle even after half critical hits.

Out of curiosity, I decided to replace StuGs with Tiger I and things soon turned sour for the Germans - bots being unable to handle the tanks properly, turning the rear towards the enemy and getting stuck on the smallest obstaces.  But most of all, the Tiger's 88 seemed quite limp in comparasion to the StuK 40 resulting in numerous deflected shots even from the flank.
