It is actually a good idea to show us your WIP work. Project looks very interesting and if you want it to be played well it's better to fix some gameplay issues now, just leave artistic feel at the end. You can always post or send download links via PM and let interested ppl have a fresh look on it if you're not scared of objective criticism. I offer my help if you need it ;)

Oh please not, we had this in FH2.0 and it was a pain, you never knew when the wreck your hiding behind was going to kill you...
It's not about exploding (disappearing) wrecks but exploding tanks becoming wrecks. Well, it is true that is possible to survive standing on exploding tank when you bail in the last milliseconds. I've checked it and it worked few times. But IMO it isn't a big problem as it happens rather rarely to be honest...

There are some hungarian voices in FHSW. They are very low quality but maybe there's way to tweak them somehow. But still we need playermodels, weapons, maps. It is unlikely to happen

I see it completely fair to bail as long as bailer is able to run for cover (or open his chute when in plane and won't commit suicide). It is great experience to survive in those last seconds. If you in tank destroyer without MG you'll probably kill your opponent with one shot using special ammo, when you're in tank you can finnish him with your MG so you still will get score (is really such problem to get few points less? I think that most important is to get rid of enemy tank, especially heavy one).
AFAIK splash damage is big enough to kill/wound bailer (or I am just unlucky :D ) so he still will be dead if he bail too late or at least wounded so he won't get far away if you want to hunt him down at all costs (in most cases his not able to run further than your HE shell can reach or you will get kill assist score at worst. To be honest when your enemy is able to run away then actually he outsmarted you and IMO staying in the tank to the end is suicide and no one would do such thing IRL, so they're simply trying to survive. And I agree that it is stupid only on aberdeen, on other desert maps there is always something to take cover behind... ;)


1- A meaningful delay on exiting a tank.
2- Exploding tanks creating more splash damage around them.
3- Flames over the wreck of a tank causing instakill.

The first one I just don't know as I haven't ever seen anything like a delay for entering or exiting vehicles on BF2.
Delay is not possible probably, but it would be great to have such thing on entering/bailing and changing seats.
The second one I realize it might be a trade-off. I suppose that splash damage on exploding wrecks was lessened in order to avoid the "staying close to a flaming wreck that randomly decides to explode death" effect, and I dunno if you can change the ammount of splash damage a tank makes when becoming a wreck, while leaving alone the damage a wreck does when becoming nothing. But, if it isn't possible, maybe increasing the splash a little bit wouldn't hurt.
Actually there is splash damage only when the proper tank explodes and became a wreck. Exploding wreck doesn't damage nearby infantry at all. (it was removed some patch ago because you can't predict that explosion and it was causing random kills)
And the third one, I couldn't possibly know if the wrecks could carry a "damaging fire" parameter attached to them.
This would also affect flames on wrecks (static ones too). I don't know about "damaging fire" on mobile vehicles and their wrecks. But flames on static wreck often don't hurt you too what is strange.

You can't repair when the bar is empty. You can play animation of repairing but it doesn't affect vehicles, at least it is what I always thought :P

I understand this suggestion somehow but just let devs focus on the new content instead of remaking and polishing old models and textures. Some are less detailed than the others but they are ALL fine!

and be patient! 2.45 is coming with some new toys for you! ;)

Then you were repairing small/light vehicles only. AFAIK repairing one 88 needs more than one full bar for example. But still I would remove the bar but add some sound of exhausted soldier when your about to be out of "repairing strengh" (like when stamina bar is empty) to make it clear that isn't any funny bar for game balance but your soldier being tired after repairs.

Afcource making unlimitted repairs is a solution too  ;)
