Thanks for chiming in Gezoes, I've often wondered what film your avatar was from honestly haha.

I totally agree though, thats one of my favorite movie scenes as well!

Well well well looks like our PR division is working overtime these days ... I hear North Korea is in need of some good lads just like yourself.
Is it so hard to say either nothing or just answer the question without sounding like a reject from Sadam Hussein's PR department.

Hahaha I enjoyed this.

Word of encouragement:

I've been following French Hope on and off for the past year and frankly I'm thrilled that you're still on the case, CptdeS35. Far too many promising FH projects have drifted off into obscurity, its great to see that you're still devoted to bringing the maps to fruition. There's a lot of people who want to see this succeed and are rooting for ya, don't ever forget that :)

Thats awesome Von Mudra.

I'll flip out in sheer excitement if you can implement that sort of variability with the rifles.

Wow. I really can't wait for TW.

USS Seawolf. The most beautiful submarine ever commissioned and a straight up badass machine. I manufacture submarine equipment at work, hence my affinity ;)

The Ramelle lawsuit was one of my favorite news updates. Second only to "Road to FH 2.0" and the April Fools about the billboards. The billboard one thoroughly confused/angered a much more naive me at the time.

Pure and simple: the Steilgrante 41 looks FUCKING AWESOME. Therefore, I support it. :)

Little hint: take the initials of that map and think eastern front.

Clever. And very cool. Although I wouldn't mind Gold Beach.

A so called "Gold Beach" is on the test server right now. I bet it's a new Russian map.

I've recently been reading a bit about Stalingrad, and I'm curious about the assaults which took place on Pavlov's House. Why didn't the Germans just level the building and deny the Rooskies the cover? Did they not have the fire support? Was the building very well built and resisted being destroyed? Did the Germans not know it was occupied until too late? Did the Germans want to occupy the building themselves? It just seems logical that they would destroy such an important fortification for the Soviets, rather than sending wave after wave against it.

At liberation, less than 2000 people remained in the entire city, living in the sewers and hiding from German death squads that patrolled the city to catch them.

WOW. The things I learn on this forum never cease to amaze me.

Loader?

He who loads a shell into the gun.

I think Kratzer meant that there is room for two passenger seats on the tank, not an actual "loader" position. I'd imagine that if they do have passengers, the perspective would be similar to seat 3 on the M36, where you're riding inside the turret. In real life that seat would be filled by the loader or gunner.

I hooked up with a girl from Argentina this past spring. She was gorgeous. Just thought I'd contribute to the Argentina conversation :)

*Shrugs*

My favorite non-submersible ship afloat these days, the Independence class Littoral Combat Ship. My company designs and manufactures the computing, fire control, and seaframe control systems for the ship. Very interesting design (if I do say so myself). First U.S. Navy vessel to be helmed (steered? Kading please feel free to correct me) by use of a joystick.

Off-Topic / Re: Questions about tanks
« on: 03-02-2013, 20:02:41 »
Pretty basic question, was it uncomfortable for tank drivers to couch down inside the tank when they had the hatches closed? Meaning, in most photos/videos they seem to be quite comfortable cruising with their heads out of the hatches. Did the seat adjust so that the periscope eyepieces were easy to reach when the hatch was closed?
