Announcements / Re: Call To Arms

Hi. I don't really post on the forums, so bear with me, I hope I'm not breaking any minimum post rules or anything, but I've been playing FH for about 3 years now and love it, and seeing this really ticks me off. So I thought I'd try and help

On the page that was made regarding FH vs Army Rage, it says that 'Leaseweb' is their hosting provider, so I looked up the Policies on the Army Rage website's hosting service, and I found that Leaseweb will shut down/suspend sites for having copyright infringing material, or anything that might make Leaseweb look bad for hosting (ie, Allowing SS and HH clan tags n stuff I'm sure would be somewhat of a bad thing to be associated with....). Has anyone tried contacting Leaseweb and letting them know about this? Maybe they'll be inclined to take down the site, or maybe suspend it for a while.

Just a thought though... I'm probably wayyyy behind in this, but I want to help somehow. :P

General Discussion / Re: The Panzerfaust

Wouldn't it be fun to throw the panzerfaust like a spear  ;D I bet some really huge German could get it through a tiger

Man this reminds me of a thought I had the other day. I was wondering if it'd be worth it to fix your bayonet to rifle once your out of ammo and throw it a someone.... ;D

General Discussion / Re: FHSW 0.4 Coming soon!
« on: 27-03-2010, 04:03:34 »
I made a topic in General Discussion about installing this....

I'm really having trouble with this, as .rar and .zip files are not my thing.  ???

If someone could post a tutorial or show me how to do this it'd be great!

Thanks. :)

General Discussion / Re: Discussion bout (future) Eastfront
« on: 27-03-2010, 03:03:30 »
-What do you want to see in an Eastren front?
As with a few others, I wouldn't mind seeing the 'generic' maps first. These would include battles such as Kursk, Stalingrad, Kharkov, maybe even a winter Moscow or even a Leningrad mission  ;)

I'd want to also see the 'generic' equipment, so pretty much the stuff you'd wanna see, like the T-34, KV-1, as well as small arms of the era.

-What are your hopes on one?
(That I could be released soon?) Seriously though, If I saw all of the above mentioned in the first release, I'd be fine. Maybe something to encourage more teamwork though, like commisars! ;D

-Do you wanna see an early or a late, or both released together?
For the first bit of the release, I think Dec. 1941 - mid 1943 would be good. Later there could be maps like Seelow and Berlin, or you could even go with the earlier stages of the war in June 1941.

FH2 Help / Support / Forgotten Hope Secret Weapons Help!

Okay, I'm not sure if this topic goes here, but right now I am losing my mind trying to install this thing!!!!! >:( >:(

I'm not the most "computer-savvy" when it comes to modding, and the best I've done is get FH1 v.0.7 and FH2 working. This .zip and .rar stuff is killing me!

So far in my researches to get this working, I've found that I need FH1 v.0.7, Map Pack #6, and FHSW itself. I understand that the most recent version of FHSW is 0.4

I'm really stuck. If there is anyone who has gotten this mod working, might I request a detailed tutorial on how to install this mod? It looks really good and I don't wanna miss out on the fun.

Thanks :-\

Singleplayer and Coop / Singleplayer help needed!
« on: 18-03-2010, 19:03:11 »
Alright, so I've been playing FH for a few months now, (yet I'm a new member here in the forums) and I've recently started playing singleplayer.

I go to play a game, with 48 bots, and when the game finishes, or I try to disconnect from the game, it all crashes to desktop. Now, I AM using the singleplayer mod that allows for a lot more bots (like 256), but I don't regularly use that, and even when I go to a number that the game already supports, it still crashes.

Any fixes?
