About Goldmarks and Spies, can´t you intercept messages, destroy ressources etc. only by using Goldmarks? So if we say, no GM allowed, Spies are rather useless, right, because they can´t sabotage and intercept messages?

You can use gold marks (well, not in this game, if we agree not to) to get special spies.  They take effect immediately (instead of every day at the day change), only work once, and you can choose exactly which job you want them to perform (instead of it being semi-random based on the type of spy you got).

Normal spies work once per day per spy, take effect at the day change, cost normal, in-game money (£ = pounds), and their effect is random based on which type of spy they are (intelligence, economical sabotage or military sabotage).  Spies cost £20,000 to recruit and cost different amounts of money per day, depending on their mission: £500 per day if they have no mission, £1,000 per day if they are on counter-spy duty in your territory, £2,000 per day if they are on an intelligence mission and £4,000 per day if they are on an economical or military sabotage mission.

How about to form a medium, you must say that you are going to go chat with another country, because it's likely that others would know in real life.

I can agree with that.  Perhaps a simple DE Article stating something like "The Leaders of <country>, <country>, and <country> met today to discuss current world issues."  You could jazz it up however you like (perhaps the Hetman of Ukraine spilled Red Wine on an expensive rug ;)), but as long it's clear that something went down, I think that's good enough.  Like DesertFox said, everyone would know when World Leaders left their country, the press would be all over it.

Rules Suggestions (feel free to add more and/or discuss these):

1.  You can not use Gold Marks in any way, shape or form, regardless of how you acquired them (it doesn't matter if you bought them, voted for them or got them from winning a game, you cannot use them).

2.  Do not circumvent the in-game message system by using alternate methods of communication for sensitive intelligence.  Intercepting messages via spies is part of the game.
-- 2a. Do not discuss private, secret, or sensitive topics in this thread.  Discussing anything on display in the Daily European (Index of Power, "World's Mightiest Armies" and other automatic articles, articles written by players, outcome of battles, newly constructed buildings/war machines, effects of spy operations/captured spies, etc.) is acceptable.

Those purple polygons in that last image are very, very familiar to me.   Definitely an overheating problem.  Oddly enough, it only happens in summer...  :D

Not sure if it's just me, but if I Alt-Tab while the map is loading, the textures are screwy once it finally loads, including invisible ground.  Try not to minimize the game while the map loads.  Of course, this might not be why this is happening for you...

Something similar also happens if you Alt-Tab or otherwise minimize the game while the map loads.  But in this case, it's probably an overheating/dying GPU, like they said.  Try cleaning the dust out of your computer, if that doesn't work, you might need to get a new video card...

30 player map is not a gold feature, but since everyone wants to play them, you have to invite people to play them with their e-mail addresses.  You can't just start a random 30-player game because the load on the Supremacy servers would be too much with an ass-load of half-full and inactive 30-player games sitting around rotting.

2 of my 3 games work now.   My Russia one is still broken.

Looking on their forums, apparently some of their servers crashed.  Probably because of the extra traffic from that tournament they're running (my guess).

...It's a shame this thread died.  To revive it, I'm going to report on the other games I'm in.

30 player map, Day 21: I'm Ukraine.  More than half the 30 players have gone inactive.   I've used this to my advantage by convincing the retarded AI to be friends with me, effectively giving me free reign in my entire region.  Early in the game, I completely knocked out Poland (whose ruler had the hilarious name of "Assbitch16"), doubling my provinces.  I now have my sights set on Russia.  I've taken one of their provinces and I'm moving on another 2 right now.  The only active player still near me is Germany, but for some reason his morale has bottomed out and his troops are exhausted for no reason, so I have nothing to fear from him.  I've recently allied with Arabia, who owns...basically all of the Middle East, Egypt, Greece and the Ottoman Empire (he's the #1 player this game, I'm 2 or 3).  We're planning to go after the Baltic countries (Serbia, Rumania, Bulgaria) and the Caucasus together soon.

10-player map, Day 14: I'm Russia.  I've taken over Denmark-controlled Finland, as well as Rumania.  I've been first for a while, but just today dropped to second.  I'm splitting Poland with Austria, who I am Allied with.  I'm getting my first arty piece tomorrow.  After I grab Poland, I'm torn between attacking Germany (who is Human, and active, but very weak) or Sweden (who is AI-controlled, but has enough troops to slow me down considerably.  Germany has the energy sources I need, but taking it would put me at odds with Britain, who recently usurped #1 from me.  Taking Sweden would give me all the building materials I'll ever need, and leave me in a very defensible position, but I'll be struggling to get enough coal to run rails throughout my nation.  Decisions, decisions...

Is anyone else in any other games?  If so, how are they going?

I know that as some of us read this, we start to twitch at the computer specs, others possibly foaming at the mouth

Shut up, besides the Mobo (which I don't know what mine is), that's the same specs as my computer.   In fact, I think I only have 2 gigs of RAM...  Also, the 6600 is a 128 mb vidcard, at least mine is...
