Theres a few duplicate objects in the map, things like wooden barrels, crates etc. I dont think there is really need to have several same sized crates around the map because each adds up load on the map. Try to streamline the object count if you can, since it is unnecessary to use multiple objects to do a job one object can do just fine. If you fear repetition, then thats a compromise you gotta consider.

Now, about the gameplay:

For testing purposes I would have loved if the round I played would have lasted longer so we could have seen how the map is at the later parts. We "only" got to boulevard flag, captured it but ran out of tickets at that point. Was actually quite fun even if I was constantly killed without a chance to even see the enemy (not necessarily map's fault, I dont see people on stock maps either).

Only problem with ambitious projects such as this is that you only get so far when you are doing a landmark battle like this with the objects we have. I feel that even with an extensive texture overhaul to majority of the buildings on the map, the berlin immersion would still fall short. But thats just something that you cant do anything about on your own and that is completely fine. It seems like a nice map from proof of concept point of view and I'd be willing to participate in another test in the future, because even if it doesnt make me think it is Berlin, I still enjoyed the work you've put in and the fact that we dont have many city maps in FH2.

Lets beat the dead horse some more:

While the PR's method is pretty much the only feasible and flexible way of doing this, it also has the drawback where you could do this anywhere. So you'd have a gunner standing in the middle of a road with the gun deployed on nothing and firing with the increased accuracy the bipod would give you.

This is just a matter of getting organized. Im quite positive that if for example americans get together and plan things, they can get games going. Just have to take bull by the horns.

Brodie was used pretty much only in the pacific by the US. By the time they landed in North Africa, the army troops all had the M1 helmets.

I do not have plans on ever making Viipuri, simply because it would be quite difficult to balance and the biggest factor is that we'd need such a huge load of pretty map specific statics that it is with this manpower situation completely out of question. You can only get so far with reskinning existing buildings.

So, at least I wont be tackling that sort of behemoth anytime soon if ever. It is not on my radar.

BFHQ is only tied to BF2 and has never functioned with FH2. With the EA server shutdown, BFHQ is presumably completely driven down by now and it does not take you anywhere. This feature is just a BF2 remnant and you should not be concerned about it when you are playing FH2.

There are no unlocks in FH2, instead it has pickup kits littered around the map that you can grab for yourself (default key G I believe). These weapons are usually heavy weapons such as deployable machineguns, mortars, sniper rifles, flamethrowers, anti-tank weapons and generally some extra firepower. Sometimes you might stumble upon some of the rarer weapons such as the Fliegerfaust or an easter egg kit like the angry farmer or Indiana Jones kit. These kits are pretty much always littered around on tables or crates and are usually located near player spawn locations, ammoboxes or within main bases.
